I normally order a medium and went up in size. The arms would have been smaller had I not. I like bulky sweaters and room. This will fit nicely for fall. However, if you are not busty. Size down. The color was as expected. I missed the dry clean but Dry all will fix that.

In the past 2 months, I ordered 12 wool blend coats on Amazon, thinking that I'd find one Holy Grail and return the rest. The brands included: Badgley Mischka, Vince Camuto, Calvin Klein, Kenneth Cole, Allegra K, and Amazon Essentials. For the price, the Amazon Essentials coat was the winner, although I ended up not keeping this exact one due to it being too large for me. I am typically a Medium or Large in Women's Coats, and this Amazon Essentials coat (Charcoal Grey, Large) was just too roomy all over. If you are between sizes, you may want to choose the smaller size. In terms of quality, this coat was on par with most of the pricier brands listed above. The wool blend was soft to the touch, and not itchy around the neck,, and had a felted kind of feel (not boiled though.) The buttons were sewn on strongly, and the seams were all straight and solid. The fit of this coat is very straight and androgynous in my opinion, so if you are looking for a coat that defines your waist, this isn't it. But it's very neat and tidy, and good for wearing over blazers and workwear. The satin lining is good quality, and is not the kind that makes a loud noise when you walk. The pockets are deep, roomy, and low-slung on the body, so they're a comfortable position for your hands, and there's no chance of your phone falling out. Amazon house brands, such as Amazon Essentials and Amazon Basics have really stepped up the game lately--I'd say this coat is better quality than H&M or Target, and roughly on par with a store like Zara, and perhaps a touch lower than J.Crew. I may repurchase this coat in a Medium in a few colors. It would be hard to find anything of better quality in the $50-60 range.

I am 5’4” 142 lbs athletic with broad shoulders. I always buy coats that are too tight in the shoulders if I wear anything other than a blouse underneath and cuts off the circulation in my arms. The beautiful influencer I found the coat from (@shopdandy) is tall and slender and showed the gorgeous fit of a small, but I thought for sure I would need a medium so it wouldn’t be too tight. Wrong! This looks like a man lent me his coat. I put a chunky sweater underneath for bulk to estimate the fit as I anticipated and I just look like a linebacker in it. The sleeves are extremely long (I do have shorter arms) and everything just feels a little frumpy, like too big to give the cute oversized vibe. It is, however, very soft and looks like it would be very classy once it’s steamed/wrinkles are out. I’d like to exchange and chance it on the small but I see the small is sold out now and no telling if it will be back. Bummed! Not sure what I’ll do but likely will return for a refund if small doesn’t become available. Also got it as a Prime Day deal at $40 and not sure if Amazon will match if I return and exchange.

It's yellow and it has to be dry cleaned so it can't be my 'only' coat, but it will be great for whatever occasion or outfit I wear this with. It's a coat to dress up or down. You wear it and make your statement. looks great for the price, just wish the arms were a little shorter! Since I just got it and the weather has been much too warm to wear it, can't say how weather appropriate it will be. I do know I like it, and the color and I will make a statement together!

I’m 5’2 120 lbs, was worried about sleeve length since I usually order petite sizes - I ordered XS, sleeve length is fine as is upper body fit, the one thing I’m not happy with is the length. Hits a couple inches below knee and when you’re short, that little bit matters. Because price was reasonable decided to keep but have only wore once and was freaked out by static electricity drawing everything to this BLACK coat. I have a dog whose coat is gold and I had to go back in the house to use a lint roller before leaving the house in my new coat - when I rehung in closet, put a plastic bag over the coat. I may regret this purchase, even at a reasonable price if the coat ends up being a lint/dog hair magnet...time will tell, will update if any changes to share.

This is one of good finds in Amazon . I was looking for coat with some bright color and I got this. It’s very good quality and fits perfectly . Color is bright which I needed. Cost justify the quality !

I didn't like that this Amazon Essentials Women's Oversized Plush Button Front Coat was delivered bunched up in a plastic bag. I also found the arm area a little constricting. I'm normally S/M and after reading reviews decided to go with the small. The fit, even after buttoning up, was a great look/fit around my torso area, and I think going up a size for a more comfortable arm fit would have resulted in a too big fit around my torso area. So, decided to keep and deal with the arm area because otherwise I like it. I got the yellow because I'd never had a bright, happy colored winter coat before and after seeing how pretty Amanda Gorman looked in her yellow coat reciting her inaugural poem, I decided on this color. I'm glad I did. Would recommend this coat.
