The armageddon box is great value if you play space marines and orks. The new sculpts are pretty awesome, especially the weirdboy. It is unfortunate that they are all monopose, but the kitbash potential makes me giddy. This set also comes with everything you need to play (outside of dice and objective markers). Good quality and value, I know it is very expensive, but if you were to buy everything included separately you would be surprised by how much more it would be, un fortunately my actual box came damaged and a few minis were a little jacked up, it wasn't a big deal as I was able to fix everything and you would never know....but still amazon damaged it before shipping as the shipping box was fine and the product box had a massive hole!! ... show more

    • Newbies start with the starter set
The set was awesome. But the starter set is more appropriate for me who has never played and want to learn. The Armageddon set is the best step. Ill probably end up repurchasing in in a year.

I received the box today and was excited to open it. I opened the box and everything looked fine but then well inspected the sprues I found a couple pieces had been broken out, the box on the inside had been dented somehow and the Weirdboy pack had a broken arm. I probably can fix it but really am disappointed that any pieces were broken. Other then those issue everything is good. I don't want to return it in case something else is broken. Hopefully I can glue my Weirdboy back together and it turns out alright because this set is amazing. ... show more

Perfect for beginners getting into the hobby. Model sculpts are very nice with a couple very good ones. Models are push fit so there are a couple models especially in the ork half that you will have trouble hiding that fact. Easy to assemble and paint. After that you just need some terrain and you're ready to play a small game you still need a couple models for each side to get to 1000 points. The lore book is also a nice touch. ... show more
