...but when I walked the upper part rubber against my leg and caused indentations. Mind you the shoe bed is comfortable. Glad I got the 8.5 instead of the 8 so that I can wear socks. I ended up turning down the top about 2 inches and I could wear all day under pants. I have now cut the top by this amount and glued the edge down. Great to walk in now. These boots are all man-made materials and are not breathable. I would recommend you buy a half size larger so you can wear decent socks and not have your feet sweat. Because of the design, the zipper gets stuck in the middle at the seam, which is really annoying, but if you’re looking for an affordable pair of boots that you’re not going to wear every day, these will work just fine.

I wanted to buy boots with a square toe. I never order boots online because I like to try them on before I buy. I decided to take the chance and it was the best decision. It was a prime try before you buy and I am definitely going to buy it and then order the black. I usually buy size 9 1/2 boots because I like wearing boot socks with my boots. This time I bought a size 9. It was a bit snug, so the black will be half a size up. The only 'but' is the zipper. It gets stuck on the ankle and you need to give it a good yank up to zip up. I hope this does not break after use. I have not worn it out yes, but it feels very comfortable and snug with a thin socks and my feet does not move around when walking.

Clunky is all the rage in my family right now, it's what my daughters and wife want to wear. They really do like this boot, saying it fits well and as expected, with a cute look to boot. It appears to be well made, no problems or odd looking spots in the material and from the quality of it, we expect it to last a long time. They also have pretty decent traction, its winter here 6 months out of the year so we appreciate a boot that doesnt slip and slide easily.
