This book as well love, and our home. We have probably close to 50 books between both children, which are under three years of age and this is the one that gets read the most on a weekly basis not only is the illustrations beautifully done, the writing is even better with its cadence and overall message. My kindergarten students loved this book. They were so surprised when Alan’s teeth with false and they cracked up at the things Alan would say! I used it to teach retelling the story. My students were engaged the entire time and did a fabulous job at retelling the main events!

Our toddler loves this book and does snapping hand motions and yells "SNAP SNAP!!! GRR! GRR!" whenever we read it. Beautiful artwork, and a deeper message to consider. A favorite!
