I'm a pretty standard size XS/S and am always excited when XS is available. 5'4, 115lbs, 24.5-25" waist, 37" hip. I didn't actually mind the length but they definitely didn't hit where they did on the model. Just an FYI. These fit great in the waist with easily an inch or so to spare. But everywhere else they just look enormous. I have a slim build but a small to average size bum and thighs. These pants somehow magically make me look like I have zero bum and are completely unflattering. I could see them being extremely cute and flattering on someone with a small waist and thicker thighs/booty. For my body type I definitely wish they were more fitted. The fabric does seem nice and they're flowy so would be amazing for summer! I just wish they fit. I considered altering them but I don't think it's worth the effort. ... show more

Initially, I was dismayed by how stiff and heavy the fabric felt. I couldn’t imagine wearing them in the summer heat. However, my major gripe was the sizing. (I’m 5’1” and weigh about 100 lbs.) I bought the smallest size available for this item (XS), which usually works for me; however, it was enormous! Although the waist and length were acceptable, the pants were far too big through the hips and legs. I had no confidence they would ever shrink enough to fit me. I purchased the white XS after owning a tan pair I bought from Athleta (in XXS petite) for $100. I have to say, these fit better and look just as nice if not better! They aren't see-through (I wear tan underwear). They didn't come with that awful smell that so many clothes from Amazon come with these days, so that was a huge plus. I will most likely have to get them shortened about an inch even if wearing heels, but I also have short legs and a long torso. For reference I'm 5'2" and weigh about 108, most of that weight is below the waist. I haven't washed them yet so we'll see if they shrink or not. The fit is such that if they shrink too much I wouldn't be able to wear them due to the hip area, but again, that's my pear shape, not the pants. Update: Washed in warm-ish water (washer says warm but it rarely is) and hung to dry and there was no shrinkage! Still fit great. I know it says you can dry them but I didn't want to risk it. These pants are quite comfortable. I have small frame and xs fits good. They run big so beware. I love to wear them with sneakers and sandals. You can dress them up or down. The price is right! I don’t like my pants to shrink in length therefore, I hang dry them and of course warm iron if needed. I got one in black and one in white color. The material is thick enough.
