I was originally going to give this robe a 4, but decided it deserved 5 stars as I wrote this review. Although it is basic; it outperforms robes more expensive in a lot of important ways to me. I spent a few weeks looking at robes and originally ordered a very expensive long, thick and plush robe which held the top spot on many "best of" lists. When I unpacked it and tried it on, it was soft and plush, but the fit left a lot to be desired as it swallowed me up and left me shapeless. I sat back down to shop again and kept coming back to this robe, so I thought, "Why not? The price is right." It is soft and thin, but not too thin. It is great both for layering with my loungewear or straight out of the shower. I like the short length as it allows be to move freely and stay cool while getting ready. It is a 60% cotton blend helping it to breathe well while the polyblend helps keep it wrinkle free. Best of all--it gives me a nice shape when worn both alone and over clothes. It is an excellent value for the cost. I can't complain about saving over $100 when compared the other robes I was considering. ... show more

Fast and perfect delivery, as promised. Couldn't be better. The robe fits as though it was made just for me. It's very soft and gives to my every move. Sleeves aren't too wide or too long, they fit like my good blouses. I just love the fit and comfort that comes with it....especially for this price point. The fabric is substantial, yet not stiff. I wasn't sure if the navy robe I ordered would have the bright white piping around the edge and the pockets because some of the photos on the listing show it and some don't. Happily, the robe I was sent has the piping! I think it looks so crisp and neat with that white piping. The robe was nice before washing, but, after machine washing and drying on normal settings, the fabric was even nicer. The waffle-weave was more pronounced and the fabric was much softer. The dark navy color did not run and stain the bright white piping at all. It looks perfect! The fabric is thick and not at all see-through. There are two sizeable patch pockets (about 7" by 7") that come in handy as I wear the robe. I am always finding things that need to be put away as I go about getting ready for my day and the pockets are large enough to hold them until I get to where the item belongs. There are two navy twill tape ties inside that hold the robe neatly. The belt is long! I could tie it and make a bow if I wanted to - think I might shorten the belt so I don't trip on it on the stairs when I leave it untied. I decided to upsize the robe, just in case it shrank a lot but it turns out that wasn't necessary. Before washing it measured 40" long from the nape of the back neck to the hem. After washing it measured 39". The sleeve underarm seam measured 16 1/2" long before washing; after washing it measured 16" long. So the shrinkage was very minimal. The waffle texture is only on the outside; the inside is flat. So if you’re using this as a bathrobe and your skin is wet, the robe will stay on your wet skin instead of moving comfortably. It’s also very thin so not sure how many washes this will survive. My personal preference is also the kimono style sleeves. ... show more

This robe is so comfortable. Sometimes I stay in it all day. I had to purchase another color since I wear this so often. They are comfortable and light weight. I’m short and it fits perfectly in the arms and the length hits just above the knee.
