I love this robe. I ordered an extra large thinking I would need to size up as many robes run a little tight and I wanted extra room. I am 5'7" about 160 pounds and very curvy I should have gotten the large which is my normal size. So i would stick to your normal size as this robe is a little too big for me. But I am keeping it as it is so nice and has the belt to cinch it tighter. It is a waffle material but still soft. So many waffle robes are too stiff but this one is very soft and comfortable. Not too heavy and not too light weight either. Long enough to cover very well. There is a separate tie with the belt loops which I like too. I would say that this runs a bit large. I usually order a size 10 US (small chested, long arms, medium height, big butt), and the Medium fits great and loose enough. Length is good (mid calf), sleeve length is perfect, color (light blue) is great, outer tie has loops and is long enough. I can tie the inner and outer belts just fine. I think if you weigh over 150/160lbs, depending on your height/build, you might want a larger size for the circumference, but if you are a size 10-12 US, I might give the medium a try. The robe is lightweight - I would consider it a spring/summer robe. I find it absorbs water well but like others have said, without clothing underneath, it is not modest enough to walk around in without a bra, as it is thin (but not see-through). This is exactly what I was expecting and good for summer getting out of the shower or pool. It's a bit softer and thinner than I though it would be. I really like this robe! The fabric is just as it was described. I love the texture. I bought it for a costume, but now I just like to wear it. It has two closures. Besides the tie-front there is an inner tie. I just use the tie-front, but it is nice to know the robe has the second tie. This is a quality robe. I like the fit too. This robe is soft, washed well, and the color looks just like the image. I ordered a Medium I'm 160 lbs 5'5" and the material folds over well, and lands just below my knees. I am currently pregnant at 38 weeks with a height of 5’3” and weigh 160lbs.
