They are not flannel, but they might be better! They are thin, comfy cotton pants and they get softer and softer with every wash. I love them so much I wear them as pajama pants every night. Highly recommend!!!

I'm a plus size uni student who just wanted to find some comfy pants to be lazy in. I have plenty of lounge pants but I keep seeing people wear plaid pj bottoms to class, so I decided I want to follow the trend. I'm 5'5, usually size 18/20, and short waisted, and these pants fit me great. The rise hits right at/below my belly button, and the pants legs are a great length - a little long w/o shoes (but not so long that I trip) but with shoes I think they'll hit right at the heel. As far as material and construction goes, I am disappointed there are no pockets, and the material isn't a true flannel; it's very lightweight, almost on the flimsy side, and doesn't seem like it would hold up to a lot of walking, especially with my thunder thighs. Additionally, the seams are a little rough, but I think after washing they'll soften. All in all, not the best pj pants you could buy, but for $14 on a college student budget, they work. ... show more

A bit tight in my hips, but not a deal killer. Remember, 100% cotton, so will shrink just a bit in eashing. Very long for me at 5'6" (~164.50 cm), so hemmed.

The material is kind of soft. I wanted a thicker flannel but the 2x size I got was comfortably correct in the butt and leg area. Cut well fir lage people. I'm satisfied but will look for a thicker material
