Pleasantly surprised by how much I love these boots. I’m an 8.5, and these fit TTS. The toe does get a bit narrow, so wider fit may need to size up. Easy to clean, comfortable, looks great, can’t wait for it to cool down so I can wear them out!

    • Don’t fit my ankles

I have larger ankles/calves than average, but not so much that I can’t fit into boots like these, but they just looked stupid on me. Yes, I can get them on, but I look like I’m stuffing a sausage. Oh well. I got an 11 and everything else seemed to fit ok.

The boots are cute and look stylish, although they're a little taller on the ankle than I prefer. The heel is chunky (as advertised) and gives a good lift which would be good in a wet weather situation. I think if I pair them with thick socks in the winter it will give good warmth. If you have a wider ankle, bottom of calf, it might rub or be a little tight. I think they'll go with anything I wear this winter. Good quality material. ... show more

These boots are really well made and look great on. I ordered 1/2 size up to allow for socks but you probably want to go a full size up. The ankles are pretty tight and do not stretch easily.

These boots are easy to wear and so comfortable. I purchased a half size up because I normally wear thick socks with my boots in the fall and winter, but I wore these boots around the house for a few hours in my thinner athletic socks and they were so comfortable. I had some misgivings at first when I took them out of the box since they are slip on boots with no zippers, just two elastic panels on either side of the ankle. The boots are also taller than I normally wear and cover my ankles to the bottom of my calf muscle. Sometimes boots make my shins hurt if they are not flexible enough, but I didn't have this problem with these boots at all. I think that the elastic panels make all the difference. I was able to slip the boots on by tugging them up with the loops at the back of each boot. The elastic is not super stretchy, but has enough give to allow you to put the boots on moderately easily. The soles are lug soles and not slippery (I wore them on my hardwood floor which can be slick) and the heel is short enough that they look good without being too tall. The soles are flat, so I would recommend using an insert in them if you are prone to foot problems like plantar fasciitis. ... show more

These are a great basic boot for the price. I got my usual size and they fit well so I would say they’re true to size. they’re not too chunky like some other styles so they don’t make your feet look big. I don’t know about a lot of walking in these but for day-to-day they’re pretty comfortable. Overall they’re a nice fall staple and worth the price. ... show more
