Thankfully, I was at home when it broke and didn't lose the gold pendant I was wearing on this chain. It's very pretty and delicate, but perhaps too delicate because it broke right off my neck after a little over 3 months after I got it.

I broke the chain on my favorite necklace (after months of making sure neither dogs not cats caught their paws in it, I caught my own elbow. I know, not sure how either). I opted for the very quick delivery on this chain, in case it was crappy I could buy another. Like so many Amazon essentials products it is GREAT. Nothing super fancy, but perfect for my necklace.
