I liked that there was a paper template that came with this to show the exact size of the photos needed for the locket, it made it easy for me to print out small photos and then stencil around the image for the size I needed. It was also very easy to put the photos in the locket, I like that there is a piece of clear plastic that goes in it like a picture frame would. Very nice touches. The only thing was that I didn't think about getting a longer chain for my mother in law, so maybe think about the length of the chain. I bought this locket because I wanted to put a couple pieces of my dog's fur in it. I had low expectations because it was so cheap, but it has honestly really impressed me! I wear it most days, and it hasn't tarnished at all. the design is elegant and subtle, while still being visible. the locket function itself is great, it opens easily but has never once popped open on it's own. The chain is strong too; I've caught it on things a few times and it hasn't broken, despite looking very delicate. highly recommend. ... show more

This necklace is beautiful! I was a tad worried because it is inexpensive (as opposed to going to a jewelry store). Then chain is delicate and sweet, but doesn't feel fragile. The locket pendant is dainty and feminine in both feel and design. The flower design is cute and definitely wearable for many different ages and types of girls/women. The only "drawback" I'll give is that the locket opens by physically prying apart as opposed to say, a mechanical push button to pop the sides apart; it is easy to do but might require at least 1/16th of a fingernail! And same goes for the clear plastic slide-in pieces that go over the photos you will insert. Very beautiful locket, but I had two issues, my pictures were hard to get in little oval frame and it was hard for them to stay in the frame , I actually had to take glue to get them to stick inside the little frame. Which then made the locket seemed cheap. As you could see the glue on my picture , number 2 issue - the locket clasp would not work . I could not properly close the locket., my husband had to fiddle around with it and tweak it with some tool and it worked after that. ... show more

Bought one in 2020 and wore it everyday until it broke about a year ago. The locket detached from the hole that the chain is threaded through and couldn’t be reattached. However 4 years nonstop wearing for like $80 isn’t bad. Just bought a replacement because I loved that locket so dearly!
