These shoes LOOK great. They even arrived pre-laced which was a nice touch. The imitation leather and stitching have a nice appearance to them. I've actually received multiple compliments on them by coworkers. There's not much padding in the sole of these and the hard rubber grip underneath doesn't give a lot of traction. That's okay because these are not meant to be track shoes. I wear a size 12 shoe normally so that's what I ordered. They seem to fit true to size. The value for the money seems to be on par. I have not worn them long enough to be able to comment on durability, yet. My biggest complaint is that they squeak when I walk or even when I move my toes while sitting! That's fine for noisy environments but in a quiet office it's rather noticeable and a little embarrassing. I'm not sure if that will fade over time as they break in. For now, I'm rating these a solid four on value, fit and appearance. If the noise goes away soon, I'll update this review and increase the star rating by one. If they fall apart in a couple of weeks, I will decrease the star rating by one. UPDATE: After wearing the shoes for a couple of days, the squeaking has stopped! Raising the rating to five stars.

These would work great for quickly-growing preteens and teenagers. Need a pair of dress shoes for a season of band or orchestra concerts? These will do the trick! They are very light and probably won’t last very long, but they’re comfortable and look nice for now! If you’re an adult looking to wear these day in and day out to an office job, they will probably last about as long as you would expect for a less-than-$40 pair of shoes.

Amazon Essentials Mens Oxford Dress Shoes These shoes look nice online but are very cheaply made. The heel and sole are made of foam, and the rest of the shoe is a plastic material that only looks like leather but feels low quality. At best, these might last for a few wears before they start to fall apart. For the price, I would strongly recommend choosing a different pair of shoes.

I got these shoes for my partner, who needed a new everyday pair of dress shoes for work. I didn’t know what to expect at this price point, and I've got to say i'm impressed. The shoes have a high-shine finish and look exactly like their much more expensive leather counterparts. The heels are well formed and non-slip. The fit was true to size, and my partner said they felt comfortable right away, which is just what he hoped for. A quick note on care: faux leather needs a bit of different maintenance. You can use a specialty cleaner, or skip it and use a tiny bit of Vaseline or coconut oil after wiping them clean with a towel. But I recommend a polish made for synthetic or vegan materials, because that will help maintain their shine just like new. Overall, these shoes look every bit as polished as high-end leather Oxfords and will hold up well with minimal upkeep. I'd say these are a great value for everyday professional wear.

The Amazon Essentials Men's Oxford Dress Shoes offer exceptional value for money, providing a high-quality, lightweight shoe with a formal, "Class A" military appearance. Their light size and sharp look make them fully functional for dress occasions. However, while initially comfortable, the shoes lack sufficient internal cushioning, indicating that long-term durability and comfort will require immediate aftermarket insoles to prevent foot pain during extended wear. Despite this need, the excellent look and low price justify the purchase, leaving savings available for the required insoles.

First and most important thing - they are very comfortable. The soles are fairly thin but are made with a running-shoe-like springy foam material that gives great cushion. The insoles are also thin but are a memory-foam like material that also has good cushion. They feel similar to comfort shoes and compare quite favorably to my Amberjacks which I always thought were overpriced. A better insole makes these shoes feel great, if you try them and think they need more. That being said, the soles are not anti-slip and don't have the greatest traction despite being rubber and foam. Still better than leather soles but not for slippery surfaces. The "vegan leather" aka plastic has no real ventilation so they aren't good outside or in direct sun either. Of course, at this price point that's to be expected. Still, they look great and are very comfortable to wear all day and do some walking in. For what they are, I love them and would recommend them to anyone.

I have to be honest and say these were a letdown for me. While the general fit (like the length and toe box) was alright, the side quarters dig painfully into my ankle bone. The only way I could get some relief was by wearing much thicker socks, but that defeats the purpose of a dress shoe, which should be comfortable with standard thin dress socks. I was also surprised by the appearance; they are much shinier in person than I expected, pushing them firmly into formal, business-attire territory. This high shine felt odd paired with the rather large, chunky sole, which I was expecting to look more casual. Ultimately, because they're too uncomfortable to wear with the proper socks, I just can't recommend them

Good affordable, comfortable shoes. Note that there are not leather so don't expect them to be used for years, or even months with continuous daily wear. The material and sole is very fragile- infact if you zoom on my third picture, you can see the imprint of my nail as i was touching to feel the material (it's foam-like). Nevertheless, I got this as an affordable pair for my graduation. So far the fit is ok and the overall finishing is good.
