Solid pants, nothing terribly outstanding. Fits true to size, feels reasonably decent. Not super slim in the leg (compared to Goodfellow & Co. slim fit), and I could go for more stretch. No complaints, just notes. Totally acceptable for the pricepoint.

I purchased these pants solely for the 31-inch inseam. Not sure why other companies don't offer a 31-inch inseam, but kudos to Amazon. After I received them, I discovered that the nice quality as well. For the price, the pants are very nice. have four pairs in different colors, and all fit the same. The length and fit through the legs is consistent. The stitching and seams are clean and the material is very nice. One strange thing is that I ordered a pair of the olive color, which were about 2 inches too large in the waist. I returned these for another color. ... show more

I wear a 32W 29L which can be a bit tricky to find. I've worn Dockers and Van Heusen over the years, as they were the only ones that I could find that carried that size in this style of pants. But now that I've tried the Amazon Essentials, I won't be buying any more of either of those brands. These fit much more comfortably on me than either of the others, look great, and cost less - better all the way around. Highly recommend, especially if you're an older gentleman like myself, and don't want your pants hanging around your knees lol. Seriously, I'm not a big fan of the "low rise" cuts, and these are closer to a classic style, which I REALLY appreciate! ... show more

    • Sizes are inconsistant, a pain to iron

I ordered 2 pair of 32W-30L, the same as I wear in blue jeans via the "try it first process The waist was right on, the length was about an inch over. So I swapped for 32W-29. The length was fine but now the waist was between 33 and 34. Anyway, i could live with that so I washed and dried them. No shrinkage but they do need ironing. I know how to iron trousers but these are a pain. The legs don't seem to be stitched to form a straight leg. So trying to get both sides of a leg ironed with no creases is a real pain compared to other slacks that I've had. I'll probably just pull these out of the dryer damp, flatten them as best, air dry, and only use them around the house or yard. I won't buy any more and can't recommend them. ... show more

This is my second pair and I LOVE these pants! I’m not the skinniest guy however these pants aren’t tight on me nor are they baggy. They also don’t ride up or sag. The stretchy material still feels like a jean and not a leotard. These are god for work casual, date night or just around the house!
