Product quality seems solid upon delivery. Easily comparable to Carhartt, which is what I normally wear. Time will tell about the durability. Fit is roomy without seeming excessively baggy, which is nice since I’m under 5’5” and baggy fit is a common problem for me. Only thing I don’t particularly care for with my specific use case is that the hip pockets don’t go as far around the side as I would like, which makes accessing my pocket a bit more awkward with my radio clipped there than I’ve become accustomed to doing more conveniently in my Carthartt pants. Fit a little long at first but they will draw up a little just like carhartt and dickies. They are loosed leg so they are great for construction work when you have to bend and squat a lot. After several months they have held up and I wear them each week for my construction job.

I assumed these would run big on my very slim teen son. He's 5'10" and 140lbs - not an inch to pinch. But these fit him perfectly 29x32. (So, imo, the folks claiming that these are a size or two too small are probably right. We have ordered other Amazon pants/shorts and there does seem to be a bit of sizing inconsistency that leans towards being smaller. The fact that these run small benefit my son in particular but if I was buying the same pants for my husband I would probably go up a size.) The fabric is different than standard jeans - sleeker. They could almost pass for dress pants minus the carpenter loops. I ordered it for an aluminum casting class that requires 100% cotton pants so I am satisfied that these are utilitarian enough to fit that bill. The value is great (currently $19 on sale). Will update with how they hold up. For what it's worth we ordered a variety of pants: Levi's, Rustler, Wrangler, Red Cap and he said these were his favorites - because of the pockets. A group of retired members at my church maintain the best we can with the landscaping on our campus. My old jeans I wore routinely have gone to the big Levi reclamation depository. Where do I go for the replacement;;;;Amazon of course. I found the perfect match. The relaxed-fit Carpenter pants is the perfect pant for the type of work we do. The material is very durable, but still looks great. The extra utility pockets on each side along with the tool loops come in handy. The price point for these was also a big plus.     • Weird, and obviously not something a big-name brand would sell

For fourteen dollars I figured these were worth a shot, as I wear pants like these every day for work for about 7 months out of the year. Initial impressions are kind of poor. The fit is bizarre - the 34" wait is a bit smaller than every other 34" pair of pants or shorts I own - noticeably snug. The legs are oddly wide - these look downright baggy, not "relaxed", like something I would have worn in the late 90's as a much younger man. I also have my doubts that the soft fabric will hold up as well as other similar pants. And while I appreciate leg pockets on both legs, which I use frequently at work, it is highly unusual and pretty silly to find them with loops above them on BOTH legs. For what I paid, I guess I'll keep these, although I may not actually wear them to work and might just keep them for yardwork and stuff around the house and garage or whatever. If I had paid any more I'd most likely be returning them. I was hoping I'd love these but instead I'm glad I only bought one pair as a test rather than buying several in different colors. ... show more

true to size , no shrinkage, YKK zippers, side pockets will fit a phone or walkie-talkie, material is not too heavy... not too light, 7 belt loops is a huge plus for me ! they will wear well for everyday use. roomy with a nice variety of colors. I will be buying more

    • Cheap but High Quality!

For What they're made of(cotton), they're the Best Pants for my Trade for it's Price! -Durable Pants that get just as down and dirty as I do as a plumber -Versatile pockets allow easy comfort and ability to hold all kinds of tools and small hardware -Side pockets easily fit most phones, My work phone is an apple and fits inside with an ottorbox case, my personal is a Samsung also with an ottorbox case and fits just fine! Only down side is, due to wear on knees from kneeling consistently, the knees wear out quickly, BUT I've brought almost 15 pairs in a variety of colors and the pairs that have too big of a break in the knees I've used as patches for the newer sets, so if you know a Seamstress don't be afraid! All in All, I'd come to the conclusion that anyone in the trade is looking for a good set of work jeans for cheap, this is it. This goes for carpenters, Electricians, HVAC techs, fellow plumbers like myself and many more! ... show more
