These shirts are very comfortable, but almost all of them came unsewed after the first wash before I could even wear them.

These Amazon Essentials t-shirts come in a pack of six, and they arrived a little over a week ago. I've been putting them to use right away. I got the XXL size for my kiddo, and they fit comfortably with a bit of room to spare. Since they're 100% cotton, I figure they'll shrink some after a few more washes, which should bring them closer to a true fit without ending up too snug, but I would have also been happy if they were a couple more inches longer. We ran one through the wash on warm and hung it to dry, and it came out looking almost identical to when it went in, no noticeable fading or distortion yet. The fabric feels soft against the skin with a nice amount of stretch, making it easy to move around in. My kid has worn one almost every day since they showed up, and there's no sign of discomfort or complaints. What stands out is the weight of the cotton. It isn't as thin as some other t-shirts I've picked up before, so it holds up well enough on its own as an everyday shirt. At the same time, it's not heavy or stiff, so it layers nicely under a hoodie or light jacket when the weather cools off. The V-neck sits just right, not too deep, and the regular fit avoids clinging or bagging out oddly. I've bought from Amazon Essentials a few times in the past, usually with decent results, and these continue that pattern. They're straightforward, practical t-shirts that do the job without any fuss. So far, no real drawbacks have shown up after this initial period of steady wear and one wash. They're a reliable choice if you're after comfortable shirts, and with 6 in the pack at today's price (on January 20, 2026) they are a good value for the money. ... show more
