AMAZON BRAND IS FANTASTIC. I bought one of these sweaters for my husband. Warmth: It's a year round weight in the South and Spring/Summer weight for the North, and not designed for cold weather (buy wool for that). Fit: It fits so well and felt so soft, and the color was so good that I bought him three or four more. I had bought him a similar sweater in a different color (same fabric, same style) from Ralph Lauren Polo. The only way I can tell which is the Amazon brand and which is the Ralph Lauren brand is by the color. Value: All the Amazon brand sweaters I bought, added together, cost less than the single Ralph Lauren brand. As far as durability goes, time will tell. I ruin every sweater I wash so we send all our sweaters to the cleaners. I don't know what would happen if they (either brand) were washed. Shrink? Lose color? Fall apart? Look for these considerations in another review. Bottom line, this Amazon brand is amazing. I highly recommend buying the sweater and hope Amazon will offer it in more colors.

I tend to order men's shirts a lot. They are usually more comfortable, easier to take care of and more durable. They also fit me better. I'm short 5'4" with size 38DD boobs. I'm a tad overweight at 175 and all the extra weight that isn't in my boobs sits right over my hips in a large circle. It almost looks like a tire, lol. This is just a good basic sweater. It's warm, but not super heavy. I would say medium weight. The sleeves just cover my hands and the sweater hits just below my butt and covers up all the bumps. At my job, we have to keep the room on the chillier side for the instrumentation we use, so I tend to layer for work. This is perfect with a long sleeve t-shirt underneath. And I can still fit a flannel over it if I need it. The plum color is really nice, and actually plum! and I must have like it so much that I ordered the same color for the Amazon Essential crewneck sweatshirt. Don't do that, they look almost exactly the same except for the material. It's only been through the wash once, but I don't foresee any issues there. For $19 on sale, it's a great deal!

Got this for my 16 yr old to wear to places that require “normal clothes” Quality is good for the price and I thought it was a good purchase. However it’s still sitting in his dresser drawer shoved in a ball with the tags on - and probably bits of wrapping paper on it - because he just insists on wearing the same 3 t shirts and basketball shorts every day for eternity. However, I still think it would be a nice lightweight sweater to wear to casual dinner out . True to size

My son wanted some oversized crew neck sweaters for Christmas. These were great! However, they fit a little smaller than expected. He normally wears a Medium & we ended up getting him a 2XL to get the popular over-sized look he wanted. They are soft to begin with but become even softer after washing. He loves that they are a lighter weight than some of the bulky sweaters that are typical of this style. They seem to very well made especially for the less expensive cost that Amazon charges.
