First the taupe color is much darker than pictured. I thought they sent the wrong color at first, as it's almost brown. I wanted these for every day warm weather pants and didn't want to spend a lot of money as I will also do yardwork, etc in them. They are a light enough material so I should be cool in them and should last at least a year with normal wear and tear. If you're looking for a high quality pant, these aren't it, but seem fine for every day casual use. I feel like they run a little small, maybe. I was looking for work pants which can be pricey. These are soft, have great fit, less expensive than say redcap or dickies. I have been losing weight and the cost of these has made sizing down easier. Only caveat is that it has a plastic sew in button instead of a metal. Will buy again though.

Recently I discovered Amazon’s line of pants, and have been very pleased with the quality. I bought this style for the first time, and purchased the same size that I have in all the other styles: 35x29. The waist was fine, but the inseam was way longer than 29 - it was at least 30, maybe 31. One of the reasons I have been pleased with Amazon’s pants is that I was able to buy pants with a shorter inseam, and not have to mess with alterations. However, if the inseam isn’t going to be accurate, I’m going to have to reconsider that. Otherwise, these are at least as good as any other comprable pants.
