They ran a little small. They were OK with the slight expansion they provide, but were definitely a bit more snug than I expected at the waist. The "expandable" part of this is nominal, so don't expect to go a full size smaller and have them fit. The material is remarkably thin, and I would definitely classify these as "summer" slacks. Though thin, the material is nice, comfortable, and well put together. The button hole was a tad tight making taking them on and off a bit more difficult than you would expect, but that will probably wear in after time. While they may "feel" their price, they definitely look a notch up and better than you might think for the price. Just don't expect them to keep you warm on a chilly winter day.

The pants are ok but note they only have one button plus a zipper to close them. Higher quality pants have multiple buttons or catches, plus the zipper.

I like these pants. They fit fairly well and seem to be made well. Only problem is they are small at the waist. I purchased these because of the elastic waist but they hardly expand so I would probably not classify them as expandable. I ordered 40" and that is pretty much what I get. The other disappointing thing is that because they don't expand very well and are tight around the waist the button does not stay on them for very long you end up having to sew it back on or not having one. Even with these issues I still buy these as I know what to expect and I can live with these few issues. If I had a suggestion, it would be too improve the elasticity. I had a pair bought on Amazon that were terrific, but I can't for the life of me find them anymore.
