Better than the name brands, imo.

So, I never thought I would be writing such a long review for baby wipes, but here I am. I have used both most of the big name brands for my sensitive babies and came across these. I ordered them on a whim and actually ordered the scented ones by mistake. It was a great mistake! I LOVE that, for my kids at least, the scent did not bother either of them or myself, who are all sensitive to smells as well as anything touching the skin. The best part is that these seem to be much softer and thicker than the other brands I have tried. I end up using far fewer than I do with my usual two brands with even the messiest diaper changes. I've tried a few different shipments of them to make sure that it wasn't a one-off experience and now I seriously recommend them to everyone I know who uses wipes. I can't speak for the other scents or formulas, but this particular one is fantastic and I will continue to use them for as long as they stay this way. With two littles and one on the way, this was seriously life-changing.

Baffled.

I'm not sure what to make of these reviews for the Amazon Elements Fresh Scent wipes. As a long time 12-year patron of Costco Kirkland Baby Wipes (Tencel fiber), I figured buying wipes from Amazon would be ultra convenient and save a trip to the local Costco, while hopefully comparing favorably. The Amazon wipes pale far in comparison to the Kirkland wipes and I immediately asked for a refund. Here's why in a nutshell: - They are quite a bit more fragile and tend to stretch/deform. - When folded in half, the fibers slide against each other in a slippery way so that it is not possible to keep the wipe in a reliably folded shape making it messy to use AND making each sheet of wipes that much less cost effective, since I will end up using more wipe sheets per job. - The fibers tend to snag and leave strands of fluff all over the skin. They don't seem to be woven in place as well as Kirklands. There is much less tendency to snag/strand by the Kirkland wipes. - The wipes are drier by comparison. I never had issues with dry feeling wipes before, and while the wipes do their job reasonably well, i.e. clean whatever body part or surface I happen to be wiping, I get the impression that the drier feeling wipe doesn't clean up as well as the moister Kirkland wipes. This is particularly the case when I'm wiping down a counter top, just seems to give out/dry out too quickly. Yes, I do store the amazon wipes upside down but even then, while it helps, they are still drier. What I do like about the Amazon wipes: - they feel very soft and non-irritating, gentle on the skin - The Fresh Scent is pleasing and certainly preferably over the Kirkland which is fragrance free but does indeed have a strange musty textile type of scent, which is not overpowering but not exactly nice. For the above reasons, I unfortunately cannot recommend these wipes and I will continue with the Kirkland brand.

The best wipes ever!

I’ve been using brand name wipes for almost 4 years now and recently switched to generic after realizing how much money we were wasting. I have to tell you that these wipes are amazing. First of all, they smell clean but not overly perfumes. Secondly, they come out of the package easily and one (or two) at a time. Diaper changes are more than challenging when you have a 20 month old who’d rather be doing anything else. Having an easy to dispense wipe is super important! Thirdly, they clean even the worst messes! Sometimes I think my kid eats tar then poops it into his overworked diaper. With my old wipes it seemed to take so many wipes and time to get it all off. These wipes take care of it quickly and efficiently with just a few wipes, so less waste! Fourthly (is that a word?) and last is that they are very flexible and make it easy to get into little folds and er cracks. I use them for everything, not just bottoms and I’ll never use another wipe again!

Quality of Product Diminished

I ordered this same product last year. The packaging and product per pack has changed slightly - in a bad way. The package is great that it has it's own flip top cover to keep the wipes from drying out, but the plastic is thinner now. OK, not a big deal, it's not like you're wiping anything with the plastic cover... but the wipe itself has changed. It used to be thick, like a really thick, stretchable, paper towel. Now, each wipe reminds me of a damp dryer sheet! Or like the clorox disinfectant wipes. Still better than other cheaper ones where the threads come off like cotton lint strings. I just liked last year's product better because of it's thickness.

Similar to huggies but better.

Love these wipes. I was using the huggies wipes in the cucumber and melon scent (I think that was what the scent was anyways) and these are comparable to huggies. I personally like these better. We have a monthly subscription so we get two cases of six packs delivered to our door every month. Seriously perfect since we have six children, two of which are in diapers. They’re super soft too. I use them to remove my make up after work also and they do an amazing job at cleaning that stuff off my face too. Very happy with these wipes.

100% Perfect

I can’t live without these. My husband is paralyzed and I use these to clean him everyday. I use these for everything every single day. They are strong just the right size and they stay moist. I hate wet wipes that are not wet enough. I could never live without these now that I have found them and I have tried every wet wipe on the market.

A solid 5-Stars - wonderful!

To date, (member since 1996), this is the BEST Amazon Brand product that I have used. They are soft, and don't fall apart. I love that you pull them out one at a time, with no sticking, tearing or having to pick at them to get one out. I always used Cottonelle. They not soft, ice cold to the skin, and a pain in the buttocks to get out of the containers. The Amazon Elements Baby Wipes feel light, and they warm immediately apron touching skin. Best of all, they are much for affordable, and you don't need container to keep them in. Each package has it's own snap top (Flip-Top). I am sold, and will only use these from now on.
