The card was made of good quality card stock, and a beautiful design. I really like to having the gift card attached. This made it so convenient and easy to use. Knowing I did not have to purchase cards in addition to the gift card was so helpful, especially at the end of the school year.     • Be Careful! All 8 gift cards that I ordered had no value on them.
Each card came in its own plastic bag and the gift card was attached to blank thank you card. I opened the plastic bag when I was ready to write the note in card and give to the recipient. I gave 7 of the 8 cards out and found out all the recipients received the same message - card had no value - check with your family to see who used it. I had one card left - so I tried to redeem it and got the same message. I contacted Amazon and explained the situation. A few days later I got an email and said my $140 would be refunded through the credit card that I used- it could take up to 6 weeks. It has been over 2 months and many calls back to Amazon and nothing returned. Each call goes to customer service - they tell me they have to send it to Account Specialist and I should hear back in 1-3 days. No one ever contacts me. I call again and customer service takes all info - they say Account Specialist will contact me in 1-3 days. This has gone on for three times now - after I waited 7 weeks then 3 more weeks of calls for the promise of a refund. It has been over two months from the date their email stating a refund would be coming in 1-6 weeks. Nothing refunded. ... show more

    • It's a Card You Can Use Like MONEY!
At first I was skeptical about giving someone a piece of plastic. It doesn't wrap well, it looks like it would have a flimsy, insubstantial feel, and it looks like the best it could be used for is cleaning under your nails, scraping THIN ice off your windshield (agian, looked flimsy), or partitioning fine-grained solids into nice orderly piles and/or lines. But then I got the card in hand and could tell that this was a much more substantial material. I was about to make a new friend because this thing can obviously scrape some pretty moderately thick ice off your windshield. My friend called me up, raving about the series of books that I bought him for his birthday. I was confused at first. I just got him this card. How can you possibly read a book, let alone a series, with this thin piece of plastic? Did they section it so thin that it actually IS a book? I never tested the edges for pages. Unable to come up with a reasonable answer, I finally asked my friend what he was talking about. I told him that he must be confused, because I only got him a rectangle of plastic. Wouldn't you know it, but instead of putting a BOOK within the card, they put MONEY in the card. Had I known this, I would have definitely investigated the edges a lot closer for the hidden latch, taken the money for myself, and then handed my friend his ice scraper. But I will remember for next time. This is an incredible product and you should buy lots of it!!! Just be sure you find that hidden latch and take out the money first!
