About a week before Christmas, I ordered a $50 Amazon gift card for my mother to go with her new Kindle Fire. It arrived in a bubble mailer, complete with a greeting card the next day. In the craziness of wrapping gifts and throwing away 15 other mailers from my other purchases, I must have thrown away the gift card. Not wanting to fuss with it the day before Christmas, I just ordered another, printable gift card. We printed it, colored it and gifted it to my mom. A few days later, I messaged a CSR from Amazon, asking if there was a way to cancel it and issue another. I thought it was a shot in the dark. Imagine walking into a big box store and telling them you lost your gift card and asking them to issue another. Not going to happen. But Amazon came through!! Not only did they issue me another card at no cost, they shipped it to me overnight! As always, I am soooo pleased with Amazon's customer service. ... show more
