It was almost perfect. It doesn't claim to be hypoallergenic, except maybe the clasp. But something I didn't realize is that there are other chains similar in price made with stainless steel, which is less likely to cause an allergic reaction. Just a reminder for anyone considering. If you ever have allergic reactions, maybe consider paying a little bit more for gold plated stainless steel instead. ... show more

Necklace broke after 4 months, clasp also constantly ripped my hair out. Bad quality and poor design around the clasp. Was pretty and didn’t tarnish. Sad it broke.

Purchased this as a replacement chain. Worked great for a few months and then it started to get weak in some areas. For the last four months, I hoped each day that it would last. It finally broke today, about 8 months after initial purchase. It’s fine if you need it as a replacement for a chain you’re having fixed or custom made, but I wouldn’t rely on it to keep any pendants safe, as the pendant that had my mom’s ashes in it was almost lost when the chain broke. ... show more

Th8s is a sturdy necklace. I have long hair and it never gets tangled in it. I am not easy on any of my belongings and it has not been damaged in at least 3 months now. Maybe longer. It is dainty but very durable.
