2 Jan Update: My wife received this pendant for Christmas. Now after wearing it since then she is very happy with it. I would buy again. Update: I contacted the American Gem Society about the certificate which stated that the diamond was not a natural diamond. They told me that there was a problem ans numerous certificates went out with the incorrect information on them. They said they would provide a new certificate and that this diamond was indeed a natural diamond. Today I received the certificate that states the diamond is a natural diamond. I have changed my review to five stars as I believe that my wife will be very happy with this necklace. The size is as advertised and as expected. The error on the certificate was from a third party and not the seller. Earlier review: I just received this necklace. The included certificate card indicates that this is NOT a natural diamond (see photo). The add for this items says" When you buy diamond jewelry you need to have full confidence in the integrity of the vendor, the manufacturer and the diamond itself. With the Amazon Collection you can be sure of all three because all stages of the creation of your diamond, from the rough diamond to the finished jewelry, are managed under one roof. The result is a reliable product at a better price." How can I have any confidence when the included certificate says that the supposedly natural diamond is not natural?

This is fantastic for the price I paid during a Black Friday deal. The chain seems really solid, not too thin as I was expecting. The setting for the diamond is also sturdier than I had anticipated. The diamond is beautiful and you would have to look incredibly closely/be an expert to know that it may have inclusions. Also being set in yellow gold, you really can’t tell if the color is not perfectly clear. To my eye, I don’t see any yellow/ discoloration in the diamond. It absolutely sparkles beautifully! The only small thing I can complain about was that it came in a baggie and you have to place it in the jewelry box provided, but at least they did provide one! Overall I am very happy with the purchase!

Good price for a cute little necklace with small diamond but, the pendent catches on the chain clasp and you can’t remove it without significant effort. I’m going to return it or will have to find a chain with a larger or smaller clasp.

I purchased the same 14 karat, canary yellow chain and diamond pendant, only to notice that the same item was 30% cheaper after I made the purchase. It seemed like it was not a fair price. How can you offer a product and then sell it 30% cheaper after customers make a purchase? But other than that, my girlfriend liked the gift.
