I opted to purchase this brand of wet cat food recently, and honestly, it's such a good deal for what you get. Finding decent cat food that doesn't empty your wallet can be an never ending hunt, right? But I was pretty stoked to give this one a try. A nice touch, was the whole guide about how to transition your cat's food gradually, especially if you've got one of those cats with tummy issues or one that gets super dramatic about any change. My cat can be such a diva when it comes to food, like, eye-rolling, walking-away-from-the-bowl level picky. So I wasn't holding my breath with this one. I was honestly shocked that she absolutely demolished the chicken flavor. I mean, she was licking the bowl clean, which almost NEVER happens. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that she'll be just as excited about the beef and turkey flavors too in this variety pack, but honestly, even if she only likes the chicken, it's cheap enough that I can just stock up on her favorite without feeling guilty. Bottom line, if you're looking to save some cash but still want to keep your cat happy, definitely worth checking out. And even if your cat's one of those impossible-to-please types, maybe start out with the chicken flavor, and co-introduce with maybe part of their previous diet. ... show more

I was happy to find this after my cat had several teeth pulled. The sad part, he only ate one can and refused to eat more. He preferred to try to chew his usual kibble. I doubt it has anything to do with the quality of this food, more that he is a confirmed kibble eater. He never liked any canned food I put down for him in the past. I ended up giving this to the outdoor cats and wildlife. I have a trail camera and I have a couple of wild cats, skunks, and a bob cat who come to eat what I leave out for them. Given the low current price of 11 for a case of 24 plus the 15% if spend 50, i decided to get 4 cases and donate them to our local shelter.. Our last 3ish yr old shelter cat adoptee will only eat fancy feast tender beef so i decided to first try the beef flavor with him. To my surprise he didn’t try to bury this wonder bound beef flavor at all and ate it!!! i like to feed all the cats the same thing so decided to try the beef with everyone else and they all ate it too.. with exception of the beef lover, the others cats also liked the other two flavors too. awesome price so bought 8 more cases, 4 beefs for us and 4 variety packs will go to shelter as originally planned.. my only dislike is that it is a little strong on the fish side, it is what you smell when opening cans. pate itself in current cans we received are on smooth non-dried side, easy to mash down for our cats that prefer it that way.. not the best quality food out there but, meat is first and rest of ingredients aren’t too bad. pretty much almost like fancy feast pates but, cheaper in price.. given my cats are fancy feast addicts, it kinda makes sense they ended up liking these too. ... show more

These are made in the same flavors as the Fancy Feast Classic Seafood Pate but nothing like it when it came to the flavor of the food. We have three rescued cats kids and not one of them would eat any of the three different flavors. The texture of the food wasn’t a pate but just mushy. It has a horrible odor. It’s no wonder, no pun intended, that our cats wouldn’t eat it. The size of the cans is the standard 3 oz. cans. They have pull tabs so they are easy to open. I would not recommend this cat food. Smells extremely like Tuna, even though tuna is not on the list. Could it be the anonymous "Fish"? No way to tell. I try to avoid large predator fish such as tuna because mercury is cumulative. I usually stick to small feeder fish like sardine and mackerel. The food is well liked by my guy. It is quite moist, not hard and tight at all. It is good and smelly, which of course is attractive to cats. It has a higher ash level than I like to see, so even if I were going to continue feeding this food, I couldn't feed it very often. It does not say what the phosphorus level is, and I've been unable to reach a manufacturer to ask. It's a good price for the 24 cans, especially as they aren't filled with cheap corn or legumes. The 3 oz size is a good one for single cat households, too. Not too much, not too little. As for why I'm not a repeat purchaser? Even occasionally? Well, it's the completely unnecessary inclusion of Red Dye #3. My cat doesn't care if it is redder than it should be, so what's the point? I have two very picky kitties, I was getting Fancy Feast. I was scrolling to see if buying here would be less expensive. It wasn't really. THEN I came across this cat food, it's a lot less expensive, it's grain free and full of the nutrition they need. I decided to try it to see if they would like it..OMG DEAR GREAT ANGELS .... not only did they accept it .. THEY ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT AND BEG FOR MORE !!! Since they do I got the subscription. Great value and the kitties love it... although I will say it's rather stinky. If they don't eat it all you will know. I purchase the turkey chicken and beef thinking it won't smell as bad as the fish pate but in my opinion they all smell pretty strong 😬 That being said as long as you pick up the plate and wash it when they are done it's not a problem :) the little kitties like it a lot!!! ... show more

I’m wondering if the formulas have changed recently. My cats have been on this food for ~2 years & are still eating it, but their poop has recently changed — more volume & a new, out of control odor. Going to try to slowly switch & see if things go back to normal.
