After years of trying to find an affordable comforter that was soft to the touch, yet still crisp plus warm and snuggly, I found it. This comforter is generous in every detail. It is not a lightweight one, but I’ve got older ones that will work just fine for the warmer months. It didn’t take long at all to fluff up after being vacuum packed, and although it had a bit of a smell to it, tumbling it in the dryer on low for just a few minutes with a dryer sheet was enough to take care of that. Yes, the crinkling is a bit loud but this is hands down the best purchase I've made. Fluffed up nicely after washing and drying. DO your research, you need to use mild detergent (one without harsh chemicals, I used baby shampoo) and wash it on cool/warm. Dry thoroughly to get rid of 'smell', which was actually not that bad (I was worried from other reviews). Does get a little too hot, I definitely wouldn't be able to use year-round. ... show more
