I was thinking these would be a bit more peachy in color as some described their curtains but these are definitely terracotta with absolutely no peach/pink Hughes in them. This color actually matches my room well and even though it is not one of my favorite colors it is pretty. I was thinking if it had a pick more pink/peach color or even a bit more orange when they arrived I would be ok with either as I said terracotta not one of may favorite colors, lol. Gosh darn it though the curtains somehow are still pretty, lol. More importantly they work well with the room and colors in it so how can I complain? I mean terracotta was what I figured would go well with the room anyways. Just saying that something about the material, even with the wrinkles as curtains were hung straight out of box(usually we wash everything first) its still pretty. Good quality. Did not smell anything and felt a bit better about hanging straight out of box with the Oeko tex certification and being sold by Amazon. VOC's = BAD. I suggest still washing if one has a easy place to hang to dry. We have a lot of cats and also there are a lot of strays hanging around our home that line drying is harder to do for us. The backing I think is the spray on type, the white coating, rather than the black weave material. It does help with sound as hubby is drilling right out front(adding catio) and the noise is not as loud as in years past with him doing something out side, lol. Curtains do well blocking out a lot of heat and light(darker curtains look like night in the room even in the day time. Summers in Florida(heck most of the world now, thanks Politicians for denying global warming Corporations cane save a buck.) BRUTAL for heat. We bought multiple colors of these curtains, good price, good quality, and safer than some of the curtains out there for off gassing is bad for health. Thank you Amazon for providing a healthier option at reasonable prices.

Using these in our RV, on the patio doors in the garage area. They work great in blocking out the light and look great. After a few months they still have some wrinkles though, so that's why the only 3 stars and of course they are not sheer at all because they are not designed to be. But they are perfect for anyone wishing to darken a room with nice looking, solid curtains with a good weight.

Update: I originally ordered the beige curtains but the rod pockets were a bit hard to pull so I ordered the white grommet ones (beige wasn’t available). I will be sending the white back because for one, they arrived with some stains but also because the white color is too bright for the many cream and brown colors in the room. They are a very true pure white. I thought that I would would like the grommets better but they seemed more shower curtain like as some others have noted. This may be worsened by the fact that my curtain rods are a matte aged brass color and the plastic grommets are silver colored so they really stand out. Regardless, I am so glad that I opted to raise the curtains up to ceiling height. It makes the ceiling look so much taller. Grommets - pros - super easy to move and less light comes through at sides and middle; cons- may not match your rod, they aren’t as aesthetically appealing in my opinion, and light comes through the grommets Original review: I chose these for bedroom over other curtains because they were OEKO-TEX certified, blackout, and affordable. They are wrinkled as others have said but I don’t think that many people realize that wrinkle free treatments applied to fabric such as clothes and curtains generally contain carcinogenic chemicals. I would rather the curtains have wrinkles than a questionable chemical finish. I plan to use a steamer on them. One thing I do wish is that they had 42x96 curtains. Right now, none are available.

The Pros So I bought these because the PB blackout ones I purchased a few years ago were tough to wash, heavy and needed excessive ironing or dry cleaning i tend to wash them 2x per year. The PB cotton/linen ones created a lot of fabric dust in the room, which was always covering my furniture and floors. What I did not expect is how superior Amazon ones would be at blocking the sun and they are "Standard 100 Oeko-Tex" so it was a win win. Nothing blocks out perfectly unless you use multiple layers of blackout shades and heavy black lined curtains. My rooms have sliding doors and I am not a fan of vertical shades or of black lining facing the outside. Purchased a set in beige and I really like the shade of beige. Not too creamy beige. Bought a set for another room in light gray and it is perfect since I prefer lighter curtains so they don't interfere with other decorations. A lot less expensive than PB blackout curtains. I mean a lot lot less. The Cons Fabric is insanely wrinkled and I have a great steam iron that has always worked to perfection. I washed them first and steam ironed them at the highest setting and I could not get most of the hard ingrained wrinkles out. The fabric is mehhh. Very plain and canvas like. Not a deal breaker because they still look fine when hung up and they block out the sun. Found a comparable set at another store that does not have the cons listed above and uses the same "Standard 100 Oeko-Tex standard. Will keep the Amazon ones for now.

The shipping is fast. The service is reliable. Those are the only things setting these curtains apart. Hang them in a college dorm room or other transitory space. Although there are ways to smooth out the extremely wrinkled state these curtains arrive in, wrinkled or not they won't elevate your space. They block the light. They're functional. Stylish they are not. Blackout curtains bought in a brick-and-mortar store will go for the same price and won't look like you mistakenly hung shower curtains on your windows. While these curtains may not be your forever curtains they get the job done in a pinch. Buy them when you're out of options.
