Growing up my window in my room would always be bright as hell at 6am and stay like that until 7-8pm making it unbearably hot as well. Since I’ve had it for almost a week it instantly made a difference. It’s almost completely dark in my room and has been less hot as well. Because of that it’s helped with me sleeping sooner or more often then before. The only negative I have which isn’t major is that it doesn’t completely cover my window. I’m not going to give it a 0/5 because of that being that it’s held on since day 1 and can only do so much as it’s designed. It comes with a suction cups so make sure you have about few drops of water on the suction cups and then stick them on the window glass and it doesn’t come off AT ALL. I recently got new windows, but have no curtains. I'm not sure what I want to do yet - curtains, shutters, or shades. All I know is, I want my room to be dark when I need to sleep. That may not always be at night. This seems to work well. I occasionally will work NOC or swing shift, so will sometimes sleep during the day. If I'm tired enough, I am able to sleep with lots of lights on, but these shades make it easier to go to sleep right away. I also like that they have suction cups and nothing that permanently gets stuck on a window. The bag it comes in is a nice touch. This also makes it good for traveling. It was very easy to install. I forgot to leave the windows slightly wet so it didn’t stick like it should at first; that was human error. The design is cute. It blocks out so much light. It’s pitch black in the room. I love the simple design. I highly recommend

These curtain’s definitely work, but I wish some improvements could be made to make them truly black out. As is, there will always be some light leaking from the edges. I’ve used spare Velcro stickies to help secure the curtain more and block out that light.
