I have been paying $200 per pair for my favorite jeans for over 10 years. After ordering a few pairs of Ariats at well below that price I find that they fit better with absolute consistency and feel much more like old school denim than my high priced designer jeans. I now have seven pair. Absolutely first rate quality (the denim is typically heavy and will last a lifetime) and the most consistent sizing I have ever seen. No vanity sizes, just the real thing. Order what you "really" wear which in my case is a 34x34 even though in my formally favorite brand I ordered 33x36. OK, I've gained a few pounds even though the 33's still fit fine in the old brand, but I haven't grown 2" taller. My only complaint is that the "boot cut" versions are wide at the bottom and the extra wide boot cut jeans look like bell bottoms from the 70s. I wear them most of the time with cowboy boots and the straight legs will easily fit over any boot on the market, the boot cuts look great if you get the right inseam but the wider boot cuts are probably going to rip on the bottom. I don't care since these are such great jeans for an exceptional price. I am 5'10" and weigh 190 lbs. and I prefer the 34x34's unless I want some tight jeans in which case I order the 33x34's. Great product and great service by Amazon as always!

Definitely not slim fit. But that is OK I like the jeans. Ariat does need to calm down with the designs on the rear pockets. All in all a really quality pair of jeans. I’ve been looking for an acceptable replacement for Levi 517/527. Looks like I may have finally found it.

When I opened the package there was an odd smell. Washed the jeans with some other clothes. Bad idea, now all the clothes smell bad. Washed the clothes four times with everything under the sink. Still smells bad, but not as strong. Going to have to wash them some more. I should have returned them.

Ordered 2 pair the legs were very different sizes, waist and length as expected. After 12 or more washes and soaking for hours in vinegar twice so far the horrible smell is still in these jeans. Very disappointed will not buy again from this seller.

My skinny legs look fat in them. The are wide legs. Definitely not my style. I'll wear them around the house, but you won't catch me out on the town in them.

These go up to a 38 inseam for sizes 30 and 32, not easy to find! I wouldn't say that are low rise but they are low enough for those with long legs but a normal or short rise. Other tall jeans (wranglers) look grandpa jeans with the waist going up to the chest! These look good and work for a slim build. I'm not sure what I'll do if my son's legs get too tall for these - we keep threatening to stop feeding him!

I've bought a few pairs of Ariat jeans, and I gotta say they are excellent quality. These M5's are my favorite though. Fit over a pair of boots well without being bell bottoms.
