It may take a minute to figure out how to assemble these but it is really about 15 seconds per full box and lid. And then you have a huge and really sturdy box that will hold more than you think! I have two sets and used all 20. I have moved more times than you would ever believe and that includes two countries and these are the very best boxes...no, helped made of cardboard, I have ever used in my life! I have stacked the heaviest on top and absolutely no flattening below. Have stacked them crookedly and have no issues. I have done many things to these boxes and they have held up to every test. And tests they were! You obviously know stacking loaded cardboard boxes is an art that must be carefully and intelligently done, right? I thought so! Whew! For moving, storage, fortresses for rats, well...the toothless ones because they would just chomp away, now wouldn't they!?! They will hold so much so well it is terrific. Clothing, electronics, wigs, art, art supplies, crafts, shoes, food, garden gnomes, forest pixies -- open handles are helpful -- anything you think can and should go in a box for a short time or forever, will be happy and safe in these. Well, garden gnomes and forest pixes can talk, as cap paintings with mouths, but there rest, well, just trust the boxes. They came in mint condition, both sets of 10, and I could not be happier! Well, if there were money and jewels in them I might be.

A very clever design where the the box folds well and has a double bottom for extra support, but unfolds if you don't tap it. You can turn the handle cuts out for temporary security but you need to tap the box or it unfolds. Still a great product and easy to assemble.

great price for the product harder to put together at first til i got the hang of it hardest part was taking apart since could i not remember the order but figured that out eventually bought the medium and large but found the medium as perfect size for our books larger used for linen stuff sturdy bottoms bought total of 48 between med/lrg they held up to the move and mover loved they for they have handles (inserts) would buy again and suggest to others

Just bought these to move all of our stuff into our new home a month ago and we couldn't have been happier with how easy these boxes were to put together and how strong they were. I did however put a ton of books into one box and had to reinforce it on the bottom because I heard it starting to tear a little, but that's pretty good for some random moving boxes and that was obviously my fault too. These are seriously not too big, so we also used a lot of totes, but they are perfect for all your little stuff.

I'm confused by the negative reviews here.... First of all, the directions are not confusing, it's a pretty easy and intuitive box to set up. Detach where perforated and use common sense. Follow the directions, fairly simple. As for them being flimsy, I'm not really sure if people are mishandling or kicking them around, but because I care about my things and moved the boxes around by lifting them and setting them down in a reasonable manner, they held up for me just fine. They were great for my move and probably would be for some storage uses; if I were doing long term storage, I'd probably look for something sturdier. For people saying they didn't hold up to packing heavy things, I'd just note this: I learned from people who do this professionally that you shouldn't fill a box so that it is very heavy. "Book boxes" are small because books are heavy. If you filled this box with books, it would damage your back to carry it. A traditional "china barrel" is large because if you pack china properly with lots of padding, it won't weigh too much in a large box. Pack the box properly according to weight, and you won't have this problem.
