This sand is very moldable and fun! It is a crumbly, powdered texture compared to Kinetic sand so not really compatible with the sand itself. The tools and molds work though. This still is a very fun product! As for mess, it can get messy. As it's not as sticky I guess, it can be harder to clean up. My toddler loves this in her sensory bin though, we will play for a long time making and destroying things!

This kit is great. Way cheaper than other brands and even includes tools. It was a bit crumbly and dry just out of the bag...did not deter my kid...and my husband...from playing with it. I ended up googling it and found out that if you add some water by getting your hands wet and then playing with the sand the texture would improve. It sure did-just like the name brand - perfect.

As an adult with autism, this appeals to my neurodivergency. The texture is wonderful and it doesn't dry out. It holds it shape and crumbles nicely when you squish it. Honestly, best purchase ever. This is definitely also helping heal my inner child. I'm definitely going to be buying more in the future.

Amazon brand was great, similar to the original kinetic sand, but cheaper. My daughter plays with this daily. No weird smell and it provides a ton of entertainment.

I got this because it was on a daily deal. I normally get a box for my son that has aqua sand in it. This was nothing close to what we are used to. It was hard and crumbled into a million pieces instead of being squishy like we expected. The blue die got all over my kid, stained his high chair, clothes, and everything else it came in contact with. I guess that's why it was on sale. The only positive was how much came in the bag as it was a large bag (I think it was 2lbs) but that doesn't really matter if the product isnt satisfactory. Lesson learned. I will not be purchasing this again.
