For storage, organization, and personal-transport of small-to-medium items: this is great! More than anything, this works great for safely storing items without having to worry about them. The case seems sturdy, the latches are strong, and the foam seems like the perfect stiffness. Would I trust this to travel through the mail? Maybe... Would I trust this to travel on a plane? Probably not. This feels perfectly adequate for storage and personal transport, but I'm not sure how well this would survive the destructive nature of an Airline. That being said, for my needs (sitting on a shelf when not in use, better protection during a move) this is perfect! ... show more

Works for all uses you need to conceal. The foam is great quality as well. The sticker can be peeled. Though getting it air sealed is hard to do.

    • Solid, functional, not enough interior space.

It’s a solidly built case. I found the partially perforated foam, divided into 1/2 inch segments to be too much, too thick. It’s difficult to leave a partition one segment thick because the segments tend to break, and two segments is an inch thick. I am took out the bottom piece of foam, 1 inch thick non-perforated and filleted it in half to be a 1/2 inch thick so that a short telephoto lens can be put in standing up. Other than the annoying foam, which I may replace someday, it seems very solid. Thick plastic, good wheels and handles. As others have said, the opens for padlocks aren’t metal reinforced, but it’s good enough for me. One more complaint is that the feet on the back of the case catch on the lip of steps when trying to roll the case up & down steps. I can see them getting mangled pretty quickly vs concrete steps. ... show more

    • Certainly Not IPX7 Water Protection.
Size: Large
IPX7 water protection should remain watertight for 30 mins in 1 meter of water. This could not remain watertight in 6 inches of water for 30 seconds. Should be rated IPX5. If you need fully submersible protection, go with Pelican or Nanuk.
