Overall this is a good piece for the money (especially on sale). Installation was pretty easy. I didn't even need the instructions. Cams, dowels and furniture bolts. No spare parts in mine, so just be careful. And the wrench for tightening the casters was not the right size so mine are just hand tightened. Also hated the quasi-blister-pack for the parts. Drawer is mediocre. Just a dado and wood runners. The runners could have been a LOT longer and the stops that keep it from pulling all the way out (just dowels sticking out of holes) could be moved to at least make the other HALF of the drawer accessible. Handle isn't attached...just a notched dowel loosely fitted between two holes. BUT, despite this it's a solid piece and I'd buy it again. Seems sturdy and looks nice. ... show more

Looks good, just like the photos. Feels very solid (we use it as a secondary baby changing table, so it needs to be). Only gripe is the drawer, it gets caught unless you are super careful. Would still buy it again.

Good product. It gives me a little more counter top when cooking. This is not one for running a large stand mixer on. I give it 4 stars because the two wheels do not lock. If you lean on it, it moves around. I discovered using my KitchenAid mixer to knead bread dough on it also makes it move around. The drawer is difficult to open so I have put the small kitchen items in it I rarely use. I like this island for what it does give me and especially its price. ... show more

I filed one of those giant black contractor trash bags with all the packaging materials ! All the styrofoam padding was wrapped in plastic film, which prevented the usual white bits from polluting my room ! Assembling was ok but it helped that I have a few tools; a thin wrench comes in the parts package! The dowel used for a handle often slips out of the brackets when I try to maneuver the unit ! I bought this on prime day on a whim because I wanted to reclaim my counter space from my coffee supplies. This happened to be the dimensions I was looking for and almost the look (I’d prefer the top not be wood-look), but for the price, I decided to give it a try. It arrived quickly and was relatively easy to assemble. Some of the directions could have been a little clearer, but I still managed to do it by myself in about an hour. It was fairly easy to assemble. I decided not to assemble the drawer since I don't need another one. It is a little taller than I expected but the wheels are nice to be able to move it around.

I have purchased two of these, one for my daughters apartment, and one for my house. It is surprisingly well-made, and holds up well. The one at my daughters department is three years old and still looks great, and shows no signs of wear and tear.
