My son loves the color, but the chair is useless with his desk because it's too short for him to reach. Had the height been as advertised, the chair would have been perfect. Feels sturdy and was easy to assemble.

This is marketed as a kid sized office chair, and it is exactly that. I would guess that it’s around 30% smaller than a regular office chair, and there are pros and cons to this. This chair will better fit average height 5–9-year-old kids, and there is a removable “bridge” that spans a couple of the horizontal legs and functions as a foot rest for kids that may need it. One issue is that the height adjustment is made to accommodate the 275lb weight limit. As such, a heavier kid, teen, or adult may be required to make any needed height adjustments (not ideal if you have a kid who likes to play with this handle). My two boys were both too light to make the chair go down on their own. A negative of this sized chair is that it’s too small for an adult sized office desk. A chair like this needs to be paired with a kid sized desk. If that’s the plan, this is a nice office chair. It was easy to put together, it’s sturdy, and it’s safer for a kid because it has a fixed back and can’t be reclined. ... show more

Overall, this is a nice basic office chair, on the small side but not tiny, in a fun color. My kids are very pleased to pair it with their desk for drawing or school work. The quality seems good, and my 10-year-old was able to put it together out of the box with no trouble. The footrest is a great addition! As a short adult, I recognize how nice a footrest is when your chair is a little tall for you. On the flip side, I do wish this chair would adjust a little higher than it does. The seat height adjusts from about 15" to 17.5". Yes, it's sized for children - but if they're working at a regular-height desk, they actually need a taller chair than an adult would. This is a great pick for kids, as long as it's paired with a desk that's at the right height. ... show more

I got this for my daughter who is 4'10" and weighs about 90 lbs. She has been happy with her new chair with the exception of one minor issue. The hydraulic lift is too strong and she's unable to lower the chair even with all her weight on it. You'll have to be heavier than 90 lbs to be able to lower it, but that hasn't been an issue since she prefers it at the highest setting anyways. The footrest is a nice addition as well. The backrest is definitely sized for kids as it's way too low for an adult, and also not adjustable. Would be nice if it would raise since she's growing quickly and will probably outgrow the chair soon. ... show more

I purchased this chair for my 10 year old's study desk, but it turned out to be too short for him (even at the maximum height). I would say this is a great chair for 5-6 year olds and will grow with them. There's a foot rest at the bottom, which is a nice touch. This chair was easy to assemble. It took me no more than 10 minutes after unpacking everything. I got this for my kids, particularly my almost 4 year old, who is about the size of a typical 5 year old. It fits her fine. She likes the seat in the highest position, even though her feet fit on the footrest better if it is down a tiny bit. She is not heavy enough to lower the chair; I have to do that for her. The seat is pretty comfortable, even for me, a 5' 10", 150lb adult. The packaging says that the max weight is 275lb, so I could theoretically sit in it, except that the backrest is too low for an adult and the hard top of it hits my spine pretty uncomfortably. If I sit with it in the highest position and my feet on the floor though, I am sitting in a proper sitting position with my lap being flat. You do not want to let your kids eat in it though, unless they are super neat eaters. I made the mistake of letting my kiddo eat dinner in it the day we got it and it has a stain now. The seat is not easy to wash due to it being a mesh over another fabric. ... show more
