I bought these easels for a workshop that I was leading. They worked great. They stand up without falling over. They were easy to set up and tear down. They're lightweight so they're easy to haul. I love using flip charts but I've always had to borrow stands to use. This presentation, I splurged on this stand. It is fantastic. It's light weight and yet robust enough to hold a full pad of paper and I had no problems flipping the pages over. The stand assembles easily. The little things that fold out to provide an anchor for the bottom of the pad didn't work for my very large pad but the paper stayed in place easily and the fold out thingies just tucked away so they weren't in the way. There are a couple of hooks at the top that went through the holes in my paper pad which helped anchor everything. The cardboard box it came in was sturdy enough to reuse for storage between uses. It would be lovely to get a carry bag for it but at this price that's probably a bit of an ask! Some reviewers said the stand was really tall. Well I'm 5'10" and it wasn't as tall as I am so I'm not sure why theirs is taller than mine. I would have no hesitation in recommending this for a lightweight, low - medium level of use. Out of the eight easels purchased, had a problem with only one. This was a Church Anniversary project, displaying various pictures of members from 70-80 years ago to present. The pictures were displayed in 30-40 in. frames and placed on the easels for the 3rd Sunday in July. One of the easels have broken. Can this be replaced? This is a really crappy easel. There are only two hanging tabs even though most flip charts come with three holes. And one of the tabs broke off the first time I used it so it is almost useless already. There is a latch to hold the top piece on and it didn't work from the start either. They are lightweight and easy for me to assemble (someone I work with was struggling to figure it out which is why I didn't give "Easy to assemble" 5 stars). This was SO easy to set up. The lower part of the legs extend and you rotate them clockwise to tighten. The only other part that did not come together was the top bar and it just snapped right into place.
