First of all, the Amazon Basics (AB) folders were loose inside an Amazon box containing several other items. As a result, some of them were bent/folded at the top or the bottom. The plastic tabs were included, but the paper inserts were not. Adding a little extra annoyance, the price has gone down more than a $1 since I ordered them several days ago. Amazon does not price match, their only option is to return them and reorder to get the lower price. How silly is that policy? If I return them, I will not reorder because.... I also ordered some hanging folders from "Blue Summit" (only because the other color I wanted was not available from AB) -both delivered at the same time, in the same box & these were in a really sturdy, sealed box of their own, inside the Amazon box. The difference in quality is substantial, and these came with the plastic tabs AND the inserts you write on. While the cheaper folders keep sliding off the track from which they are supposed to hang, the more expensive ones stay put and glide effortlessly up and down the track. Even though I am known for being a cheapskate, my recommendation is to spend the extra money to get the Blue Summit folders.

Just ‘ok’. I’d say you get what you pay for but these are around the same price as some other well known brands and they do not seem to be as nice of material. Right out of the box they look worn, the color is rubbing off the creases.. Wish they came with full page of label inserts so I could print on them instead of the folded up strip that you get.

I bought these because I'm reorganizing my office and wanted to refresh my file folders. Many of my hanging folders are bent, curled or the hanging part had come loose and they won't work. I thought these were a good price and have been very impressed with the quality of all the Amazon Basic products I have tried this far. These came in a box much too small for what they were. Before I opened them, I wondered if maybe I had been sent the wrong thing. Nope. They're all squished into a box about 3 inches too small for their size so they're bent, curled, etc. They're also very thin, flimsy folders. I don't think they'll stand up to any kind of "normal" use. If you're only storing a few sheets of paper per folder and not in and out of your files, they're fine. But I have my doubts about how long these will last. Not happy with my purchase.

Beat up looking. Old stock. Not packaged in their own box, jut tossed into the shipping box. Very unsafe during this time of Covid19. We are very careful to clean everything brought into our home. Impossible to do with the way these were shipped. Terrible on Amazon’s part. Shoddy product, shoddy, unsafe handling. Shame on Amazon.

The folders arrived very quickly! The color was beautiful and all of them work properly. My only deduction for stars was because 1/8 of the packs I ordered for a huge project had the tops of the folders all scuffed off—- hard to see in photos but the folder is all medium-gray and the top looks like something really hard pressed/rubbed against it so there’s like a little white tracks along the top that have rubbed off the grey coloring :(

I thought this was a good deal - and I liked the color of the folders. I was shocked when I opened the box to just find the folders loose, unwrapped and curling. The packaging was awful, the folders are cheap and flimsy, and I found way better deals for better quality at Target. Save your money

These were exactly what i was looking for, and the color i wanted. But the packaging left a lot to be desired. Files came bent, no protective covering or cushion added to the box. They were just kind of thrown in there. Color was rubbed off on the tops as well. all the files were bent at a weird angle towards the top because the box was too narrow for them to lay flat in it. Overall, they'll do for sorting my papers because we're socially distancing, I can't get to the office supply store , but I would not ever purchase again. Really considering returning. We'll see if they straighten out some while hanging. UPDATE: 8/4/21 They didnt straighten out, threw most of the package away because it was after the return date by the time i checked... The few i did use have faded. To be fair, its been close to 18mo, but i dont think anyone replaces their hanging folders annually. This was a disappointing product overall.

These are great hanging folders, and they are not flimsy and are of same quality as any other green hanging folder I have had in the past. I would definitely buy more in the future! Also, it's definitely true to color.
