I enjoy having the scent of lavender near me whether I am going to bed or working on the computer. Amazon Basics Gel Odor Eliminator was perfect for my needs and lasted a few months. It did not eliminate any odor rather just gave a pleasant aroma to enjoy. My gripe today is about the price increases just recently issued. I purchased the item for $4+ originally and about 4-6 weeks ago it jumped to $5+. A few days ago I checked on the product again and found it was now $12+ for one container. UNBELIEVABLE! That's gouging. As much as I prefer this brand, I am looking elsewhere for something similar. If I must I will find a "new" scent to enjoy at a reasonable price. ... show more

...if the box is scooped daily. It's unscented, so it doesn't mask the odors with another odor, but works at absorbing any lingering smells. I can see it working for the fridge, a shoe closet, or to absorb lingering cooking smells in a small kitchen. I bought a car, the person I bought it from was a smoker. I purchased these in the hopes that it would be able to absorb the odor in the car, and it works like a regular air freshener. Freshener. May not look like it, but this is a candle jar sized unit with charcoal that sits and eats odors! Open and set the cap, you're done. Pleasant odor removal without being obvious yet it'll scrub an average sized room space. Scent is very light, I'm allergic to heavy perfumes and this works great!!

I ordered 1 in January and 2 in March and I used one in a bedroom and one in the living room and they seem to work better in smaller rooms. Well, I was going to order another one to try in the living room again but the price has doubled. Loved the product when it was $5. Bought SO many and I think they actually work. They have a great indication of when it’s out as well. Personally now at the $12 price for one, other brands and better brands have 2/3/4 backs for the same price.
