  • Nice closet organizer/storage unit
Color: Black Style: Organizer Unit + Grey Drawers
I was surprised about the structure of this when I opened it up. I had read reviews and things and people had also similarly said that it was sturdy, but I’m just a cynic and assume that anything you buy online, especially if you can’t see it in person, and if it’s mass produced, will likely have some issues. And of course, there are some reviews here where people have had bad experiences. So, I will say that I appreciate that I did take the time to read reviews. Specifically, the people who had said they had a problem with putting the items together in the wrong direction. So I was very mindful of making sure to mirror the pictures in the instructions, so that I made sure all the back facing pieces were in the right direction specifically as many of the reviews state if you don’t have it in the right direction, then the drawers can’t slide in and out. In addition to that, I would say that it probably took me about 30 minutes to put together. I do imagine you could do this in 15 to 20 minutes, if you were going quickly. I think I was just obsessing about making sure all the pieces were in the right direction, and that probably made me slow down. But I’m including a pictures of the way the instructions are. Specifically that there are no written instructions. It’s all just pictures. So you will have to spend a little bit of time just making sure that what you’re doing is mirroring the pictures, because there’s no instructions actually to ‘tell’ you what to do. With that said after I had kind of wrapped my mind around it graphically, it was very simple to put together. You will need a screwdriver for this, but basically the whole thing is just screwing in like 20 or so screws. I have not actually put anything in it yet, so I can’t speak to longevity or durability. I also was not able to find any dimensions for the size of the drawers before ordering. I included the picture in the instructions that say how much weight things can hold, specifically the drawers and the top of the unit. I do plan to use this for item storage (r.g., toiletries, beauty/skincare, cleaning products etc), not clothes, so I guess time will tell in terms of how well it holds up for that. I know I can’t put very heavy things inside. I know some people complained about the size, but again I would rather describe this as like a storage unit, and not a dresser. My picture will show this next to my actual traditional dresser. I think my dresser probably comes up to hip or waist height on me. This item clearly comes up to about your knee. It’s a little bit taller than my cat. Which is also included in one of the pictures lol. But I think this height really makes sense for something that is meant to go in a CLOSET. Because I went out of my way really to measure my closet, because I actually don’t think my closet is very deep (I just bought my first house, and it’s a 1920s Colonial; the closets have been the bane of my existence lol). And I also wanted it to be below a certain height, because I also wanna be able to hang clothes. So with that said this unit checks all the boxes. It doesn’t run into space that I can hang clothing, I can also maybe put some things on top of it. And an offer some storage bins to have loose items off the floor and out of sight. I also do like that this unit comes with the fabric bins. I had been shopping for a while to try to find something that met my needs, and some of them were cubby types but you’d have to buy fabric bins separately. Or other ones there were more just like stackable crates, but with nothing to conceal what’s inside. So this unit, for me was a good balance of having something that I could open and close and to keep things tidy. When you get the fabric bins, they all come flattened, and then you have to put like a hard cardboard in to give it structure. Again, the instruction manual tells you how much weight these can hold. So I will see if these start to collapse down depending on the weight. And I also will attend to whether or not they will be a struggle to pull in and out if the bottom starts to bow in. In a perfect world, there would’ve actually been like a piece of plank underneath the fabric baskets. Just to give some additional stability. Right now underneath the baskets is a metal frame, but directly underneath it is completely hollow. Other than that, I think it comes well packaged. It’s not heavy, in my opinion. I was able to carry it upstairs with no problem and put it together by myself. I also was able to easily lift it once assembled and put it into my closet. Literally, the only complaint I have so far is just about the Styrofoam in the box. For some reason, the Styrofoam was already pretty broken down when I opened it. So when I opened it on my bedroom floor, I was already concerned about having to clean up a bunch of little pieces of Styrofoam from my floor and rug. Because I noticed it before really unpacking the whole box, I was able to keep it pretty contained. But that has nothing to do with the functionality of the item. I just was a little bit miffed about potentially having a cleanup project even though I thought the assembly of the unit was pretty straightforward and quick. So I’m overall happy with this item. I will update my review if I end up using it and it doesn’t serve the purpose I’m looking for. But I also recognize that most people are going to use this for clothing, which is probably lighter, and I might run into issues, trying to put more solid items in there. ... show more

  • Great little dresser
Color: Bronze Style: Organizer Unit + Grey Drawers
This was perfect. Wanted it for the inside of my mom’s closet. Needed something that wasn’t too tall or long. It fits perfectly. Was really easy to put together. This was user error but when I was putting it together, I did not pay attention that the “F” pieces go a particular way. There are drawer stoppers so you don’t push the drawers back too much. They have to go to the back. I had them at the front so I could not slide the drawers in. Had to take it all apart and redo it. Wasn’t hard, but make sure you’re paying attention to that. It comes with a kit to anchor it if you need it not sturdy, but I did not. Sturdy enough without. Love the look of it and feel you can’t go wrong for the price! ... show more

  • Fantastic for the price!
Color: White Style: Organizer Unit + Grey Drawers
I have a tiny closet that recently would cause me so much anxiety when I opened the door. Lol! I was able to organize things and create so much more space. There is now room in my closet for my luggage! This was a breeze to put together too. The drawers are the collapsible fabric kind, that have the cardboard inserts for the bottom. But they work great for my bulky sweaters, leggings and sweatpants. This is a must have if you are on a budget and need to declutter your closet! ... show more

  • Perfect Size after my Wardrobe Purge/Declutter
Color: Black Style: Organizer Unit + Grey Drawers
Recently I got into KonMari and decluttering, and wanted a new dresser to reflect the new changes in my life and wardrobe. I wanted something smaller than what I currently had, and lighter, too, since the prospect of moving something heavy up flights of stairs didn’t appeal to me in the slightest. I had my eye on this style of dresser, loving the look of the fabric drawers for a more casual look to my apartment. I also liked the 5-drawer set up, meaning I’d have to learn to be more efficient with my clothing storage but still have a decent way to divide my clothing up. The flat top leaves it open to customize however you want. I plan on using it to hold jewelry and other wardrobe accessories. It was easy to set up, instructions were clear and I wasn’t missing any hardware or assembly parts. You do need a screwdriver, and I left all the screws loosely screwed in until I had all the parts connected, then went back through to tighten them all up. All the metal pieces and top had no imperfections and went together as they should. The fabric drawers feel appropriately sturdy for what they’re made out of, but I do appreciate that replacement drawers can be ordered, even in different colors to fit your home’s vibe. For a quick reference, in one of the bottom drawers I put in 4 pairs of jeans, 3 pairs of leggings, and 1 pair of sweatpants and still had a smidge of room to spare (display folded instead of an upright fold). The weight didn’t affect the motion of pulling or pushing the drawer in and out, but over-stuffing it would lead to your clothing catching on the width-wise support rods separating the two levels. This fits great in my walk-in closet, and because it’s so light for a dresser it’s easy to move. It isn’t very tall, so check and then recheck the measurements on the product page before you order. The smaller size is one of the points of this dresser that really appealed to me, but you do have to bend over to open the drawers. Though there are adjustable feet, I see these more as keeping the dresser even on uneven carpet more than trying to add any height. Overall I’m very happy I purchased this dresser. It’s simple, casual, and can be the perfect solution for a lot of organizational needs. ... show more
