This is a perfectly adequate cable, but for my needs, 6 feet is a bit short, yet 10 feet is quite long. I decided to return this one and try the 6-foot cable to see if it would work, but Amazon didn't want me to send this one back, so I guess I will be sticking with this! Just make sure to measure as always. The only downside, besides the length options, would be that the ends feel a bit light and cheap, particularly the monitor end. Additionally, it felt a bit loose on the monitor end, but after fiddling with it, it appears to be secure. But for the price, it works perfectly! ... show more

This is a standard power cord. It does what it needs to without you needing to think about it. For the money, it's everything you could need from a power cord. My advice would be to get one that's slightly longer than you think you need. Amazon says that this item is "Returned frequently", but I can't image that is due to the item quality itself, which is just fine. My assumption is that people get a cable that is too short and have to return it for the correct size. It's better to have more than you need than to be stuck with less! Plus if you have a longer cord, you can route it differently and potentially hide it better, rather than being stuck going directly from the appliance to the outlet because you got the shortest cord possible. ... show more
