These are very nice curtains. They are soft chenille, they add a light texture to the room/decor which adds a fresh but cozy feel. The rings at the top are well secured and will hold up for a long time. The reason why I took away one star is because they are described as semi-blackout. I think light filtering is a better description. Semi black-out makes me think mostly dark but as you can see from my photos they let quite a bit of light in, and this was when the sun was already on the opposite side of my house. These are great curtains, they just shouldn’t have blackout anywhere in the name

These curtains were exactly what we were looking for. The fabric is thick, feels durable, and hangs nicely with a clean look. They do a good job at blocking out light, enough to darken the room but not total blackout, which is actually perfect for us since we still like a little natural light to filter through. The color is exactly as shown in the listing, a solid grey that blends well with different décor styles. The grommets make them really easy to slide open and closed, and installation was quick. I did accidentally snag one panel and pulled a thread during setup, but that was my own fault, not an issue with the material itself. Overall, they feel high quality for the price and give the room a polished, cozy look. Very happy with these and would recommend them if you’re looking for good semi-blackout curtains that are simple, stylish, and well-made.

I ordered these curtains to put in my child’s bedroom because there is a street light across the street that casts light into the bedroom at night. There is already a light blocking shade in the window, so the intention was to provide more light blockage. Silly me, I thought “semi blackout” meant something akin to “light blocking.” I think “light filtering” would be a more accurate term. Don’t buy these for any use other than privacy and maybe dispersing light a bit. The listing also describes these curtains as “chenille.” I looked up the definition to make sure I wasn’t confused. The word “tufted” appeared in every definition I found. There is nothing tufted about the texture of the fabric. It has less dimension than a baby sleeper onesie. I would describe the fabric of more as a slightly fuzzy jersey knit. The fabric is smooth on the other side. All of that said, the shade of white is quite nice, not at all yellow, but not a harsh white. The fabric is soft—though I don’t know the value of softness is a window covering. The grommets seem strong enough to hold the weight of the fabric without any issues. Don’t buy these curtains expecting light blocking or anything with a distinct dimension to the fabric. I’m surprised by what I’ve received based on the listing. It’s not at all what I wanted. The photo of the curtain hanging is in front of a French door that does not have direct sunlight behind it. It’s easy to see the window panes. The pin in the other photo is a quilting pin I used to demonstrate the depth of the texture.

These are overall nice curtains for the pricing and size ($28 for 2 curtains, each 52 inches wide, 84 inches long). The grey color is ultimately a lighter grey than shown in the photos, more like a standard grey sweatshirt than the darker grey shown in the product photos. I tried to snap a photo of the "true" color against a grey of a bed spread that is similar to the grey in the product photos. These do not have a backing, so "semi-blackout" is really a stretch. This is more like "sheer when sunshine hits". They are very soft, and the chenille is woven more to look like a canvas or tweed, but soft to the touch. The silver grommets are a bright shiny silver, be aware they are not the kind of grommets that hide well. We will use them as a middle layer for a three layer curtain, an ultra sheer, a middle layer (this) and a real room darkening layer over all of it. If you know what you're getting (thinner layer soft curtain), then the pricing for each is modest and they are a no-frills curtain that is good for layering.

I’m really happy with this set of curtains—they’re a nice quality for a very reasonable price. While they’re not the thickest blackout curtains out there, they do a solid job at dimming the room. The packaging claims about 85% light blocking, and that seems accurate based on my experience. The material looks and feels premium—soft, durable, and with neat stitching and no loose threads. The chenille fabric is so soft, I almost wish I could use it as a cozy blanket! The strong metal grommets are securely crimped, which gives me confidence they’ll last without any issues. I just hung them up today. They hang nicely with very few wrinkles right out of the package. I have added these to my other two curtains which are gray with a gold geometric design. The solid gray and geometric gold design work perfectly together. Overall, I definitely recommend these curtains for anyone looking for a soft, durable, and attractive darkening curtain that won’t break the bank. Three thumbs up from me!

These curtains are the perfect length for my windows. They are a natural white color and have silver grommets. The material is soft and lightweight which made it easy to replace my old curtains. These are not blackout curtains, just regular curtains that let some light through. They do dampen the light a decent amount though. The quality seems good and I didn't notice any flaws. This is an affordable quality set of curtains.
