Pros: -Price -Durability -Functionality Cons: -Lacks knurling -Few cosmetic imperfections I've bought these kettlebells in a few different weights and have been very happy with all of them. The price for the Amazon Basics just can't be beat. With cheaper price, you think that you would get an inferior product but that has not been my experience with these. They look great and perform well when being used in my home gym. I weighed a few of them and they are all consistent with the weight that they should be. The handle fits well into the hand and has a smooth finish. I wish there was a slight knurl to them to provide a little extra grip when the hands get sweaty, but that can be easily solved with gloves or a little grip tape. A couple of them have a few minor cosmetic imperfections, but nothing that effects the performance of them. Overall, very pleased!

I had gotten into kettlebells about 5 years ago just as they seemed to be gaining in popularity. I have a set of 12 now of various brands, weights and styles. I have watched as the prices per pound had gradually increased especially for the fancier vinyl coated ones that I prefer. THEN...the Covid virus hit, demand went way up as folks stopped going to gyms, manufacturing stopped supply went down to the point these were really scarce. Now, supplies are back up but so are the prices. I had read the reviews on these more affordable ones by Amazon and had reservations that they would show up chipped, damaged or have rough handles. BUT WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED UPON ARRIVAL...I ordered two 35 pounders that arrived on separate days. Both were packed really very well, double boxed, and wrapped. No damage from shipping , no chips in the handle or body paint. There was a rough spot on each on the inside curve of the handle but not enough to cause any issues. I would buy these again...these are not fancy...but I cannot afford the vynal coated ones any longer. UPDATE on 2nd purchase 12/2021 - I ordered 2 of the 40lb based on my 1st purchase above. Again, packed very well and arrived quickly together on the same day this time. Also, again 1 had the rough spot on the inside curve of the handle. But this time it required a quick file job no biggie. The 2nd one though had a ridge along the entire bottom inside edge of the handle...bummer. This required much more extensive file work plus primer and paint to seal. I hope it works and does not come off or rust now. Kind of a let down, but returning is too much hassle and may get a worse one. Also...these are grey and not black like the first set...not a big deal in color but I noticed while painting repair that this set chips more easily. Not sure I would order a 3rd time after this 2nd set. Quality of finish and QA seems a little less this time.

Got a GREAT deal on this and very impressed the quality. Setting up a home gym and I highly recommend this to anyone who is doing the same. I have had weights in the past that you can tell are not very good quality and tend to crack/break. This kettle bell seems like it is built to last.
