We have lots of wine glasses from all of our favorite wineries, but more often than not we break them (which isn’t always a bad thing because it prompts us to go back to that winery and buy more LOL). What we needed were good sturdy wine glasses for the casual sunset afternoon glasses of wine that we’d have no problem breaking if the wind knocked it over or one of the puppies. We bought these because they were inexpensive but when we pulled them out of the box, we were surprised at how thick and sturdy they were….and yes one of the dogs knocked into our outdoor patio table and one of these dropped onto the chair then hit the floor and didn’t break! So yeah, worth it. These are the “we don’t have any guests coming over, let’s have a glass in the backyard” everyday glasses that we were hoping they could be. I even bought three extra sets in case we have friends over who have young kids that run around and might knock a glass or two on the floor. Just in case.

I read the reviews before I purchased. So, there were some people who were SHOCKED, SHOCKED to find out that wine glasses can break! Well, me and broken wine glasses go waaay back like a lazy boy. it has always been my fault. That being said, I have had some really thin wine glasses that I have broken by just trying to clean them. From the reviews I read, I thought I was going to get that variety. That kind of glass feels really light and delicate when you pick it up, does that mean that it's an expensive or a cheap glass? Really, I'm asking. If it was a wine bottle and it was really heavy and had a super deep punt, you'd know that was a pricey one. My Riedel glasses feel light and I know what I paid for them and for that reason I rarely use them. When I opened up the box of Amazon wine glasses and pulled out the first one, I thought, wow that's heavy we could make it through an entire night together and one of us could ride in the dishwasher none the worse for wear. If you want a large size and solid almost commercial feeling ( in a good way ) wine glass then smash buy it now

These are a perfect choice if all you’re looking for is a standard set of wine glasses. I find nothing flawed about them at all, and they do not stand out in any way, nor do I think anything else could. Unless you need something with a different look, I see no reason to spend more money on some thing else. They aren’t cheap-looking or flimsy, just as expected. For what they obviously are, you really can’t go wrong at this price.

These are nice wine glasses, but a little larger than I really wanted. They barely fit in our wine glass cabinet where they hand upside down by the stem.

I needed to replace broken wine glasses, and I was very pleased with these glasses. They look and feel like very expensive ones.

I just received these wine glasses and was disappointed when I opened the box. Given Amazon's usually great value on its "Basics" line, I thought I'd be getting higher quality glasses with a more aesthetic design and thinner glass.... similar to a Riedel glass, but at a much better price point. In reality, these are average quality, consumer-grade wine glasses made with fairly thick glass that most serious wine drinkers do not desire. Given the Cyber Monday price of $15 for four glasses, I won't send them back since they are technically not defective. In terms of relative value, I have found MUCH higher quality glasses at Costco at a better price point -- ones that I am comfortable using on an everyday basis, but not embarrassed to use when pouring excellent wines for friends/family.

I like that these have some weight and I’m not scared to throw them in the dishwasher. Way more enjoyable than drinking out of crystal glasses worrying about chipping or breaking it. Nice shape, pretty large size which has lead to a few heavy pours.
