Works exactly as intended! 8K, high quality! My only complaint though, is out of the box, it smells really bad. But it goes away after about an hour. Really thick cable, but that's a good sign when someone claims its 8K. If your using this for a monitor that's nearby a computer, I recommend a smaller cable, otherwise it will be dangling from under the desk, and be really noticeable, but you'll be fine if you have cable management equipment. ... show more

I recently had to ditch my right 90° display port cable because of a custom hard drive modification I did to my small form factor computer, It just wouldn't fit anymore. At first I went with another brand because it was braided and had an even smaller housing than this one. But the shielding for bends stuck out incredibly far and made it impossible to bend the cable near the connecter. I saw these Amazon basics cables and the housing looked slightly bigger but without the giant extrusion for bend protection sticking out. This cable is working flawless for me and bends easy without making contact to my tabletop. Also in general the housing on this is sticks out much less than your standard long display port cable making it suitable for all types of builds and tight spaces.
