We needed a shelf like this for plants in our living room and like this style as we have a number of them of different sizes in the basement and garage and workshop, mostly that we have found a garage sales. So when we need something to fit a particular space I checked on Amazon and found this one. It arrived promptly, without any damage, and was easy to assemble (but I have put together at least 6 or 7 of these style before). I'm not sure how easy the instructions would be to a person assembling this for the first time as the instructions depend too much on pictures where sometimes a few words would make things a lot easier. I liked that they included an extra pair of the plastic pieces that go in the shelf corners that fit on the uprights, as they can be easy to misplace. I am impressed with the size and apparent quality of the wheels that it sits on also. We're happy with it and pleased with the quality for the price. I bought a second one of these shelf units a couple of weeks ago for storage in the garage, since we like the first one so much, and the second is just as good as the first one--but now my wife is using it so I need to order a third one for my use in the garage.

I love these shelves. I purchased two of different sizes. The only downside was trying to read the instructions (English). At least there were pictures to follow. I am somewhat mechanically inclined, so I figured it out. I am a YouTuber, so I included putting this together in one of my uploads. People loved it. It's very sturdy once it is together and rolls like a charm. It fits perfectly in the space I needed it and it's a heavy, solid system.

This shelf is great! Its easy to put together the wheels are a great thing to be able to move it around. It does hold a lot of things but if they are bigger things like a suitcase you cant fit more than one unless its smaller suitcases. The only thing i would say is its not as wide as i hoped for. Other than that its great i would def get another if i needed it for smaller things. It does hold a lot of weight its sturdy.

I bought this Amazon Basics 5-Shelf Storage Shelving Unit back in November 2020 when I decided to finally turn my old, raggedy coat closet into a functional pantry. Let me just say—this shelf was the perfect choice for the job. Assembly was a breeze. I was able to put it together by myself in under an hour, and the instructions were straightforward. The adjustable shelves made it easy to configure for different pantry items—from tall cereal boxes to shorter canned goods. What really impressed me, though, were the smooth-rolling 4'' caster wheels. They make it incredibly easy to roll the unit in and out of the closet when it's time to restock or reorganize. It’s stable, doesn't wobble, and locks in place when needed. Now, almost five years later, this rack remains as sturdy and solid as the day I set it up. For the record, I have put together several of these type racks over time. I was concerned about the quality based on the price of this unit. As soon as I opened the box, I knew my concerns were moot. All the components are good quality and the finished product is as sturdy as any other I have assembled. The unit I ordered has wheels. Not some tiny casters, but decent sized swivel wheels with 2 having brakes. (I put the wheels with brakes on what would be the front.) Assembly is straight forward with no tools required. It took me about 20 minutes to unpack and assemble the unit. But, remember I have assembled a number of them so experience helped. I do recommend this unit and would buy it again
