First, these are not compression cubes! They do squish your items down better than leaving everything "loose" (whether folded or rolled) in your suitcase. Everything stays organized. I love being able to see what's in the cubes through the mesh. The mesh also lets the clothes breathe. The double zipper is great. I didn't find any holes or loose seams. The material itself could experience a bit of fraying on the raw edges under the inside zipper seams. In my experience, I just use scissors to trim those threads off (don't pull). The material is a lightweight ripstop with just enough body to have a bit of shape, allowing easier loading. Using these cubes doesn't take up any significant additional room in my suitcase. The tops open all the way. The fabric stays reasonably wrinkle-free. I ordered the small and slim sizes in gray. The slim is the size stated. The small is 10.5" x 2.5" x 6.75. So a bit smaller than the description. The cubes are not machine washable because they have a water-resistant coating. That can come off with the water and agitation of a washing machine. I plan to just wipe them down with a washcloth at the end of my trip, though I'd prefer to be able to use a washing machine. Shouldn't be a problem because I put dirty laundry in plastic bags rather than directly back into my cubes. The slim cubes are perfect for fitting between the suitcase interior bars from the handle. The small size is good for playing tetris with the rest of the space, or fitting into the bottom of a pack. I use both sizes to maximize my carry-on and personal item space. Also great for my small checked bag if I need that one. I prefer smaller packing cubes because I rarely take anything that needs a bigger cube. I don't know how long these will last but the price and sizing are right for at least several trips. ... show more

First I need say these are NOT compression packing bags. These are packing bags to keep your clothes sorted and separated in your suitcase. Pack outfits together, keeps things organized in your suitcase so you can find them easily. This size can hold folded men’s or women’s pants, shirts, undergarments. I preferred the sturdiness of these bags over other thinner nylon bags. Zippers are sturdy and work great. It does take a few moments of careful folding clothing to the proper size to fit. Some may just prefer to stuff it all in their suitcase, but I want my clothes to arrive with less wrinkles and ease of locating what I need. We used these for our 6 week SE Asia trip and loved them. We moved hotels every few days and these make it so much easier to stay organized. All shirts in one bag, all underwear in another etc. Or if we knew we'd only stay for one night somewhere, we'd just put everything for the next day into one bag and all we had to take out of the big suitcase that day was that one bag.
