I spent hours scouring Amazon for a height adjustable table that would work with the other furniture in my sewing room. This was the only one that could be lowered to the 24" I needed but I really wanted wheels so almost passed. One of the other reviewers said that the ball feet on this table made it easy to move so I hit the order button. This table is heavy and sturdy, just like the ones used in classrooms. And the ball feet glide easily on my hardwood floor with no marks at all. Assembly is easy. The legs attach at a slight outward angle so make sure the adjustment holes face in as you fasten the bolts. If you have an Allen or Torx bit for an electric drill, assembly is 10 minutes. With the included Allen wrench, 15 minutes. The height adjustment requires moving two bolts in each leg to the correct holes. The height I needed lines up with only one bolt hole but it's perfectly sturdy and secure.

Packaging was organized. Easy to get out of the box and start putting it together. Table was odorless. Very sturdy with canted legs and good weight for overall stability. Table surface is smooth, but not slick and has been easy to clean. Surface is hard enough to avoid everyday scratches. Adjustability range meets my needs - set once with leg bolts and forget about it. If you are wanting to adjust height frequently, this might be frustrating.

I have purchased a lot from Amazon and really was excited to find this table, sturdy enough (buyers said) for a sewing machine, and height adjustable from 19" - 30". The instructions offer nothing in the way of detail about adjusting the length of the legs. It arrives telescoped with screws holding a 17" space. In order to adjust the height, one must remove the screws. OK -- I could do that. BUT when I did that and tried to establish a 22" - 24" height (what I need for my sewing machine), there is only one hole on the inside piece of the inside telescoped piece. There is nothing in the instructions to account for this worry. Am I supposed to use the screws provided even if there is no "hole" to receive them? I am very disappointed and hope that I get some answers to questions I've posed in the "questions" section. If other buyers clarify it for me, I will happily adjust my review.

Overall, this is a solid desk that is right-sized for a grade school student that is learning from home. It is easy to assemble - even all the screws lined up right. Yay!! The long term sturdiness is a bit of a question mark though. The first desk I had delivered was essentially destroyed on one end during shipping. I get it. Shipping happens. I dropped it off at UPS to return the same day it was delivered. I bought another one that same day because I couldn't wait for the return to process and ship a new one. But even the second one has a spot where the laminate has bulged out and cracked. The trouble spot is on the bottom of the desk though, so I didn't send it back. Granted, I may have considered returning it if I hadn't needed it less than 2 days from the time it was delivered. This is actually the 2nd?/3rd? one of these desks I have purchased. We liked the first one enough to order the larger version this year. However, even the first one has a small bulge in the laminate surface -but it is not cracked. Both desks will certainly last a few years (at least), and I will get my money's worth from them, but I no longer expect perfection in the laminate material. Overall, I would recommend this desk, as it serves its purpose. The adjustable height makes it ideal for school age children, especially when paired with an adjustable chair. It is solid. It is sturdy. It is easy to clean. Honestly, what more can you ask for in a student work surface? If you are on the fence, buy it...but only if you can live with a less than perfect (although darn close) product.

The 1st table I received had a huge gash in the side. I returned it and UPS picked it up. Even though USPS delivered the 1st table with no problem, I was told they attempted delivery and could not delivery because there was no where to put it and/or it wouldn't fit in their truck (which didn't make a lot of sense. ) I went to 2 post offices to pick up this table. Luckily, a USPS employee carried this to my car because it is incredibly heavy. The table was easy to assemble and I gave it a quick wipe down just to be safe and it the paper towel looked as as if I had removed foundation with a makeup wipe. The table seems very sturdy and I like the ball feet and smooth table top, but getting this table required way more effort than it should have.
