...they've changed the supplier for Amazon Basic wired mouse, and this new version is functional, but annoying. The left and right mouse buttons are spongy, and require too much pressure to maintain a connection. This makes dragging and dropping a game of "dropsie", leaving whatever you were dragging dropped about halfway from where you intended to drop it. It requires about 2x the pressure to maintain the connection. You'd probably get used to it in time, but you'd be really annoyed until then. Not recommended. ... show more

There's two huge problems with this mouse. First, its' not quiet. I can clearly hear the clicks, especially if I double click. Second, clicking and dragging doesn't work. It thinks I released and reclicked when I'm dragging. It's not an issue with my hand since the mouse before worked fine and the one after this also had no issues. ... show more

I got this mouse for my husband and it worked great for two weeks. Then the dongle stopped responding which was frustrating but he was still able to use the bluetooth function. However that too has stopped responding. The mouse appears as if it's connected but isn't reactive at all. I had to talk to support since it was outside our 30 day window by 4 days and they thankfully set me up with a return but overall this was a lackluster product. ... show more

mouse was not plug and play on my MSI laptop had to plug in old mouse then put amazon mouse on the computer saw it. Had to reboot computer using old mouse. Then after computer shut down pulled out old mouse and restarted the computer then this new mouse worked. Should have been able to just plug it in and work. ... show more

Some reviews complained about the mouse not being silent, but the description does not specify it should be. And so, no, it is not a silent mouse, which doesn't bother me. The Bluetooth connection works like a charm & I love it! However, no matter how much I try (& on 4 different laptops), I cannot get the USB connection to work. That shouldn't be an issue as long as Bluetooth mode continues functioning properly.     • It's a cheap mouse with a 6 foot cable.

Well, it works. There is nothing bad about this mouse, but also nothing special. My last mouse had a 4 foot cable and I always ended up yanking the cable. The 6 foot cable fixed that problem. It was actually cheaper to buy another mouse than a decent usb extension cable.

I was looking for a quiet mouse that I could use in a bedroom. Each click is quite loud. I am not sure why they call it a quiet mouse. Other than the noise, it works fine. Guess I will have to quit looking. I hope they take the word quiet off of the description.
