This Amazon Basics 2-inch Flex Putty Knife Scraper is an absolute home run for any home maintenance or wall repair project! Whether you're filling nail holes, spreading spackle, or scraping away old paint, this tool delivers professional-grade performance at a fraction of the cost. The carbon steel blade strikes the perfect balance between firmness and flexibility. It has just enough bend to apply spackle, plaster, or joint compound smoothly and evenly flush against drywall, yet it remains rigid enough to easily scrape off loose paint, caulk, or wallpaper without warping. The 2-inch width is ideal for tight spaces, small patch jobs, and precision work. The handle is ergonomically designed with a comfortable, non-slip grip that feels solid in the hand and reduces fatigue during repetitive scraping. It also features a convenient hanging hole at the end, making it easy to store on a pegboard or tool rack. If you're tackling any drywall patching, spackling, or surface prep work around the house, this 2-inch putty knife is a durable, reliable, and affordable tool that gets the job done effortlessly. Highly recommended!

This is a good-quality scraper that feels sturdy in the hand and works well for a variety of jobs. The blade has a useful amount of flexibility while still being strong enough for scraping, spreading compound, and other repair work. The handle is comfortable and gives good control. For the price, this is a very useful tool to keep around the house or toolbox.

Metal part is slightly flexible making spackling much easier. Much better than a rigid blade. Good quality for the price.

Bought this for my most recent home painting project. I needed it to spackle small knicks and holes in the wall prior to painting. It worked great and great price!

Perfect for what I needed. Previous tenant and landlord left behind the adhesive residue from peel and stick tiles in the perimeter of the bedrooms and closets that needed scraping off. I sprinkled in baking soda and it came right up. Previously had used goo gone and a lottttt of scrubbing action that made me put off this project for 8 months. My entire 15ft wall only took 20 mins and was kind of satisfying. I’ll report back after I’ve completed the rest of the rooms on longevity and durability.
