    • Very Large Table and Decent Trains and Tracks
This table is huge and easy to put together - assembly probably took about 15 minutes, it comes in about 6 pieces, the ends, the sides, the top and a crossbar. The actual trainset that comes with it is decent quality but the pieces definitely have more "play" in them compared to something like Brio's sets but you cannot beat the quantity for the price. This table is also way bigger than the other tables I've seen such as at IKEA and Barnes and Noble. The instructions to build the displayed track are easy enough to follow but you do have some weird pieces that reverse the track and such so might be a little harder to find and make sure it's 100% accurate. I did not end up gluing this down so the track itself lasted less than a day before my toddler deestroyed it but he still loves playing with his trains on the table and being able to move the tracks around and build what he wants which I'm more of a fan of. Overall for the price this couldn't be beat by any other competitor and I wouldn't hesitate to buy this exact set again or as a gift. The only thing you should check before hand is the table dimensions because like I said it's a LARGE table compared to the competitor options. ... show more

It's sturdy enough, comes with cool stuff, and the kids (2 and 4) love it. It's really nice there's a little storage bin with it, because everything on the table at once is a bit much, especially when my kids add dinosaurs and unicorns. One star is knocked off because the train tracks are a little rickety (not all consistently made, and they don't fit together that snugly, so derailments are common), and the planks that have the town pictured on them are bent upwards a bit (a few millimeters), which affects the train tracks, too. I had to build bridges over the seam in the middle or the trains would derail there every time. I hope the boards will settle down with time, but they seem pretty firm in their bent-ness, and I don't want to risk trying to bend them too hard the other way. (I haven't yet tried to put them upside-down and see if that helps. There's no village on the other side, but a blank table might also be fun.) All in all, I'm glad we got it, and the value for money is great. It mostly met expectations. I'd easily give it 5 stars if these small quality issues were taken care of. ... show more

Pieces allow you to create your own design. Some pieces are small and plastic, I tossed them, but most are wooden, very cute, great for little fingers, grandkids love it

    • Still nice but missing pieces and some pieces didn’t fit
There was a couple missing piece so will have to buy tracks to finish it. We were given a partial refund, we didn’t want to return it because our toddler was just too happy about it and we figure we can always buy tracks. And we already worked on it for 2 hrs …. One thing I will say is that instructions are not clear and pieces are not labeled so you’ll have to play it by ear. Before building def count all the pieces, we should have done that before hand. This is perfect for my 2 year old. Exactly what I was expecting and hoping for. As some other reviews mention, the table surface does get little indents when things are banged into it… but it doesn’t bother me. I’ve had it 6 months and it’s holding up well.
