I can't believe I didn't read the other reviews first. That's on me. This is, as has been said (now that I'm here reading other peoples' reviews,) a *tiny* weekly pill holder. 5 stars if you only needed a Lilliputian holder, 2 stars if you thought you were getting a standard size case. :sigh: Again, it's my fault for not scrolling down to check all the product specs before I bought it. I took off the 2 stars because a weekly pill case definitely has a regular expected size, and this isn't it. The word "small" in the product description, or a picture of someone holding it for the first photo, would have helped a bunch. This is a simple product so there's not too much to say about it. The pill case definitely works well for it's purpose, the little doors for each day stay firmly closed until you want them to open. The case is a good size for the five mixed-size pills I have to take every day, but small enough to not be a problem for travelling. The doors are sturdy and don't look like they will break easily. I leave the little doors open in my drawer, so they do take some beating even when they're open and they haven't shown any signs of wear. While the transparent lid allows visibility, the imprinted letters on the lid prove more helpful. The pillbox has sufficient depth to accommodate various forms of medication, including capsules, oval pills, and round pills. However, considering the plastic composition of the lid hinge, it may eventually succumb to wear and breakage. Having experimented with numerous pillboxes, I perceive this particular one as a run-of-the-mill option. Therefore, if you intend to employ it for an elderly individual with distinct medication requirements at different times of the day (such as morning, afternoon, evening, and bedtime), I would advise against choosing this box. However, it serves adequately for a week's worth of medication and is convenient for carrying in handbags during travel. ... show more
