I've had a Fitbit Blaze for 3 years, really liked the watch but hated the short battery life and the lack of GPS. A little over a year ago I was checking out smartwatches on Amazon and was stunned to see the AMAZFIT BIP for less than $100 so I decided to give it a try. It solved the battery problem and and GPS problem, but to be honest, the BIP was not a very good looking watch. Last month I started reading the AMAZFIT GTS Smartwatch reviews here and elsewhere and took the plunge. I'm glad I did! I love this watch. I'm not a professional athlete and the functions of this watch suit me and my lifestyle just fine. The battery doesn't last quite as long as the BIP, but it lasts long enough for me to forget when I charged it last! Depending on my activity level, the watch can easily go 2-3 weeks without a charge. I have found it easier to synch the GPS than the BIP, and it tracks fairly closely to the Blaze's performance. I do find the Blaze gives me credit for more steps than the GTS, but that's not necessarily a bad thing because it makes me work a little harder to meet my daily 10K goal. The watch is well made, and durable! I've banged it accidentally on doors and the like several times and it still looks brand new. The app takes a bit of getting used to but it also has quite a bit of useful functionality. I have not tested the waterproof feature yet, but it's convenient to know that a little rain isn't going to damage the watch. All things considered, AMAZFIT knocked this one out of the park in my view, and did it at a price point that is unbelievable for the quality! Five shining stars!!!! ... show more

I've had this for over 2 years now, and it's still going strong. It is strong, durable, and best of all, it lasts over a week on a single charge. It was paired with my iPhone, it receives SMS messages, email, and IM. It allows you to deny a phone call, tracks heart rate (unfortunately not O2), it has GPS, activity monitoring, and is waterproof up to like 150 ft. It is thinner and looks better on the wrist than an Apple Watch does. The software it uses is pretty good as well. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of say Apple Watch or Samsung's line of watches, but it has superior battery life and looks nicer. ... show more

Ive had this watch for 2 years now, and for what I wanted from it, it’s been great!! I use it to count steps, track sleep, lightly monitor my heart rate, get notifications from my phone, and various other functions it has. It still lasts about 2 weeks on a single charge (and charges within half an hour). The only complaint I have is that it doesn’t receive my texts ever since I switched to an iPhone, but I’m sure there’s a way to fix that. I just don’t care to. I love that I can customize the face and strap too. I’m very very happy with this purchase, and if youre looking for a basic smart watch with a reasonable price, I recommend this one. ... show more

I cannot express how much I LOVE this watch! I gad a older version ( amazfit pace) and it was ok but have a lot need to be improved, so I decided to give it a try for this : the batter is 5 times better, the ease of pair and use cannot even be compared , the screen is so beautiful, the face of the screen has so many options that you can sync from the app, you can even choose your own face by using your own photo! It closely monitored my heart hit and reminded me as I was almond out of my office the number and is it safe. With all these features and functions, look at its price, literally just a cost of a normal grocery store food shopping. Love it! ... show more

Love this watch. Does almost everything an Apple Watch does except talk on it. My battery last 10 days before needing charged, and it charges quickly. Some features: text notifications, if playing music on a Bluetooth speaker, you can skip song or change volume(I use this function in the pool), waterproof ( wear daily in pool & have worn in beach too), several watch face options, even has a find phone function if you misplace your phone in house. Has several other features (sleep, heart rate, steps tracking) and you can use apps I don’t use this function). If you don’t care to have a watch with functions similar to Apple Watch (except talking on watch line a phone) with a long battery life (10 day average) and a fraction of the price, this is perfect! Bonus:also came with several colored changeable watch bands to coordinate with your outfits). I love this watch much better than my Fitbit watch and strongly recommend ... show more

This watch is slightly cheaper than my Fitbit I had ordered and sent back due to it being too big. I do wish it had a few more features like the Fitbit. Overall it is decent and does the main things I need it to do. I like that I can customize the watch face and use my own photo. I was finally able to get all of my notifications set up to come through my watch. However, customer support is not great at all. You'll wait a couple days or so for any kind of response and then not even get the correct response...I am still not getting certain notifications properly. I like that there are a lot of different options for bands to purchase. The band that came with the watch is not the easiest to attach back to the watch though. The pins don't move with ease at all and I struggle to get them back on. I also noticed today a spot on the band is already ripping and I've only has this watch a week. So I'm not sure if I just got a defective band. I bought a 10 pack of replacement bands and have had zero issues with putting those on. I charged my band right when I got it and it was down to 15% battery life yesterday. So I definitely don't see me getting 14 days of battery life with it. I wish the app had a food tracker option where I could log my calories. And lastly another feature that is missing that I may use occasionally would be, being able to respond to certain notifications or answer an incoming call. Not a huge deal, but still would be a nice bonus...if I had paid full price for this watch I would be returning it for something else due to poor customer support and lack of features. ... show more
